Dora Jar - No Way To Relax When You Are On Fire

so so unique i have genuinely never heard anything exactly like it. the lyrics are so authentic and honest in the best way, and even though every song is it's own individual project it all feels so cohesive and put together. i genuinely love her voice and this album so much! i'm not sure if i see myself revisiting this album often, but i definitely enjoyed it!

Ariana Grande - Positions

i just didn't like it. this project has some iconic hits that made moments of this album somewhat memorable, but besides that i was kind of disappointed and underwhelmed.

Passion Pit - Manners

when i say that i love synths and electro elements in music, this is EXACTLY what im talking about. it's so fucking weird but im so fucking obsessed with it. the production and atmosphere is so amazing and well done, and i love the anthemy vibe that some these songs have; it reminds me of between friends in a way. like this is what mgmt wanted to be with oracular spectacular but they did not succeed. one of my new favorite synth pop albums of all time. INCREDIBLE

Remi Wolf - I'm Allergic To Dogs!

ugh I just love her. remi wolf's creativity shines all over this EP. there's quirky lyrics, unpredictable production, and a wild personality that makes it stand out instantly. it’s not perfect, but it’s so fun and original that it doesn’t really matter. a super solid project that shows exactly why she’s such an exciting new artist.

Janis Joplin - Pearl

she had such a beautiful and unique singing voice, it honestly carries this whole record into a different universe. janis didn't just sing here. she howled, cried and bled through every single track. she had the kind of voice you hear once and never forget. what I love most about this album is how timeless it feels even thoit’s rooted in its era, nothing about it feels dated because the raw emotion is so universal. every track is bursting with honesty and genuinely i have nothing bad ... read more
