I was really hoping the production was going to lean more towards what she gave us on “Houdini” but it’s actually just a generic pop record. It’s not bad but it’s nothing great neither. Disappointing. Two or three highlights.
Another deluxe version of hers that’s carried by the original version. The added tracks well, add nothing to the album. Bad to average at best.
I liked 5 of the 17 tracks. It’s overwhelming and underwhelming all at once. It’s messy, too much or not enough, lacking. I’m not sure what she was trying to do with these. “Good In Bed” is a 0.
The standard version tracks save this whole thing. I don’t even know why it exists other than more commercial success. Bad, boring, uninteresting pop.
An iconic pop moment that will be remembered for a long time. It has some incredible songs with fun lyrics and great production and some that are just not as good. A few songs weren’t for me but it’s a good album overall. I must add that the album cover is gorgeous and that “Boys Will Be Boys” is NOT that bad. It’s an enjoyable finale to the album even if it doesn’t really fit the concept.

Un nouvel album, un album en plus qui témoigne du talent de Jessica Pratt. Cette douceur, cette simplicité, ces mélodies hantées… une autre réussite malgré ses 27 petites minutes et des sons quelques peu répétitifs.
Des paroles qui hantent sur des mélodies toujours plus douces. Un tranquillisant auditif, du miel pour l’âme.
