improves dramatically by the end of the record as he moves away from the shitty dubstep instrumentals and more towards the soulful stuff
it feels like he tried to squeeze I lay down my life for you into a veteran style album which just hasn't worked
I literally cannot hear what he's saying in half of these songs
extremely disappointing from an artist I regard incredibly highly, has felt like a bit of a downward trajectory since ILDMLFY
one of the worst albums I've ever subjected myself to
and I VERY rarely hate albums as much as this
one of my favourite drizzy albums to drop in years
drake sticks to the things he's best at these days- petty lines delivered over hypnotic soul samples
guaranteed I'll hate the other 2 albums but I'm impressed with this one
-3 points for lack of honesty and self reflection and refusing to move on from the beef
this guy could freestyle over the entirety of miles davis’ kind of blue and i would eat it up and ask for seconds
