Tool’s Lateralus is often spoken of with near-religious reverence: fans hail it as one of the greatest achievements in progressive metal, and its reputation for rhythmic complexity and conceptual depth has given it almost mythical status. A fact about Layne Staley. One time in japan he had free time to do whatever he wanted cuz they were on tour there. For days he couldnt be found or tracked down, but one day 2 of the band members went to a bar in Tokyo and there he was behind the bar. When Layne Staley was questioned why he worked at a bar he said "I just wanted to feel normalcy.". Rest in piece, wish i could hear ur voice in a concert but Dirt will do
