The fact they got Danny fucking Brown on the remix for Step...
Words cannot describe how happy and compelled I was by this album
I know I’ve been giving out 100s like participation trophies, but I feel like this album really deserves it.
In my opinion, Coldplay’s best album, and their last good album they had to offer
Edit: Sigh...
The third installment to Streams Of Thought is pretty hit or miss with the production, but Black Thought does damn near every one of them justice with his rapping ability, which we already know how high that is at this point.
A supergroup with 5 rappers with completely different distinctive rapping styles, and 2 producers can be hard to pull off. Luckily, Doomtree pulls this idea off incredibly well, with an album that could honestly go down as one of my favorite rap albums of the 2010s.
Favorite Tracks: Final Boss, Gray Duck, Mini Brute, The Bends, Generator, Marathon
Least favorite track: My Own Nation
This grew on me a lot overtime. Really wished Chance could have continued this kind of maturity and creativity on his debut.
I know there is talent in this album, however it is insanely distracting when Reason has this very shitty and try-hard attitude in his lyrics that make it a very annoying listen for a good portion of it.
Went into this record expecting my Elementary School hatred for One Direction will get the best of me...
Turns out it didn’t.
While King’s Disease has it’s flaws, this is easily some of the best material we have gotten from Nas since the release of Untitled
I’m ngl, this is a pretty good single for Drake, but c’mon man, you can think of a better album name than “Certified Lover Boy”
