The lyrics and production on this things are legitimately incredible. But me not being a huge fan of Boldy’s rapping style is what sort of weighs this project down for me.
EDIT: Wow okay...
Rest in Peace to MF DOOM. One of my favorite artists in general and one of the best MCs to ever do it. He’s released so much legendary material like this one, and his talent and impact was undeniable. His legacy will live on forever.
An absolutely stunning and beautiful album from one of pop’s most unique voices. Airy and lush instrumentals with Björk’s mix of passion, anger and playfulness in her voice and songwriting couldn’t be a more fitting match.
Favorite Tracks: Hidden Place, Cocoon, It’s Not Up To You, Pagan Poetry, An Echo A Stain, Harm Of Will, Unison (my personal favorite track)
Least Favorite Track: If I had to pick, probably Sun In My Mouth?
As someone who didn’t find Music To Be Murdered By terrible, this was just plain unnecessary
One of the saddest albums I’ve ever listened to, but it’s still phenomenal in almost every aspect. It really showcases the large amount of talent Elliott Smith had. With its somber lyrics, stripped down instrumentals and Elliott’s painful yet soft delivery all compliment each other like crazy, and remains consistent all throughout its 12 track and 37 minute runtime. A masterpiece of 90s and indie music in general that is a huge standout of Elliott Smith’s incredible ... read more
Jacob Stonertorius was on that good🍃when writing this banger while listening to Lil Peep✨🍃✨🍃💥🔥🔥🔥
A great album from Kid Cudi, and this final installment to his legendary Man On The Moon trilogy honestly did not disappoint. It is a bit of a bumpy ride, the first half is a bit inconsistent with some high highs but some low lows, but the second half really picks up as a lot of my favorite Cudi songs are on that section. Overall, I’m just glad we got a really solid solo effort from Cudi, that I hope will grow on me later on.

Will make this my alarm
I do see the massive amount of potential in the Kid Laroi, I really do, but this was just incredibly average for me. I do highly appreciate the artistic diversity in some tracks on this “deluxe” section of the album such as So Done and Without You which completely strip away any rap aspects of Laroi’s music and just go straight into guitar/ukulele ballads with passionate vocals (which honestly ends up being some of my favorites on here). However, the rap infused songs are very ... read more
Legendary Memphis rapper Juicy J releases an album that for the most part has really good highlights, but is too overloaded with features and unnecessary tracks. While Juicy is not downright terrible on these tracks, it seems like his unique personality was underplayed, and the production was nothing special. I fairly liked a good bit of the features on here. Lil Baby, A$AP Rocky, Jay Rock, Memphis Pat Conway, and NLE Choppa did their thing, and Logic on the song 1995 was really solid, but his ... read more
Gorillaz’s masterpiece, in my opinion. An absolute powerhouse in their discography. I love how Damon combines this fun, upbeat vibe with a more melancholy mood. The concept is very imaginative when you mesh it the rest of Gorillaz’s catalogue, each track flows into another perfectly, and the features all do an amazing job with their contributions. Especially Little Dragon who is on two of my favorite tracks on here, To Binge and Empire Ants. This is where I feel like Damon hit his ... read more
While this mixtape has grown on me, and Hell Of A Night still remains as one of my favorite Trav songs, this is still a pretty middle of the road tape that has yet to shown his full development
