I like the sound that the band is going for, but its very in one ear out the next. Shame
In my opinion, To Be Kind is the best album of the 2010s, and one of the greatest albums ever made. The sheer ambition, scope, and grandeur of this piece of art remains near unparalleled and cements many, many relistens. I get it. I truly do. Bloom is a unique, serene, and tranquil experience that... bored me. It's alright for what it is, it's by no means bad, but I have no plans to listen to it again. To me, its dreamy atmosphere feels very unimportant and doesn't interest me in the slightest. Oh well...
Longer that it should be, but still gorgeous and a must listen for indie fans.
Starts off well but takes a sharp turn into mediocrity in the second half which contains some of the bands worst material. Hourglass anyone?
This album just keeps growing on me every single listen. No, its not as raw as their debut, but it's far more melodic and better written.
I've tried guys. I really have. I listened to this thing three times and I still cant bring myself to like it. I get the appeal of it, but I just don't like it. Shame.
