feels a lot more like a full song than the original and yeat does fantastic imo. It definitely could have been better but for what it is i'm a big fan. what i'm NOT a big fan of is this disgusting piss yellow album cover eww
some excelent alt metal with a shoegaze flair. my favorite bits of this album are definitely the more beautiful singing moments but this album is great throughout. kicks so much ass. banger after banger.
god damn this album slaps so fucking hard. Still not entirely sold on Hot Head (its a little too silly for me) but the rest of this project is borderline flawless. So many brutal moments and absolutely bombastic energy and production. Love the outro track too, one of my favorite Death Grips songs.
beautiful and smooth, amazingly soulful music with some great vocals and production. Production is really nice, very relaxed and calm. Writing is also really good, very touching and often poignent topics.
some great ambient music. frequently ethereal, never quite settled with one particular sound. Very versatile and enjoyable listen, some great synthwork throughout too.
lil uzi vert has been on a roll recently i'm really liking the hell out of these recent singles. Hope he can come through with a decent full length project in the near future that would be simply splendid
very enjoyable dancy pop music, not much else to say about it. Had a good time
There are some cool ideas here but it's mostly bogged down by some big writing and delivery issues on the vocal front. The production is often dark and odd, but only ends up working for me like half the time. Shows some promise but needs to be polished a lot.
very decent album, pink siifu is two for two this year. I think its a lot more consistent than BLACK'!ANTIQUE but the highs aren't nearly as high and the lows are a little worse. Overall really decent tho, with some great variety and some nice production and rapping all around.
Beautiful, joyous music. Great production, great singing, feels like a ray of sunshine.
It's kind of funny sometimes but for some perplexing reason yuno decides to stay in this limbo space of half trying to be funny half trying to make a good song that mostly ends up pretty boring on this album. Not the worst thing ever but I vastly preferred his ep around Christmas of last year.
This shit is hard as fuck. The vocals are brutal, the production is bombastic and all together this album is intense and worth the listen.
Some decent ambient music. Pretty and relaxing for the most part, with one or two sections with some extra distortion thrown into the mix. Not bad.
The production is phenomenal, genuinely every instrumental here is amazing with soaring synthesizers and beautiful often powerful chord progressions. Most of the issues arrive with the vocals, which are mixed strangely and often bring down many of the songs. At times they sound like living tombstone vocals they're so burried in effects and autotune. But sometimes they work great, such as the intro track. Overall shows promise, but flawed execution.
This project starts off a little awkward but when it hits its stride, Prima Donna goes hard as fuck. The little singing-borderline spoken word bits at the end of almost every track also bring things together, making it feel like a much more fleshed out project. Great production and hungry, aggressive rapping from vince.
I really did not like the first track all that much at all, it's essentially literally one note the entire time up until like 2 minutes before the end when it gets slightly interesting. The second track was a little better, even tho at times it just sounded like random shit being thrown together at others I think it genuinely worked. It gets a boost for being a lot better comparatively than the track before it but overall I didn't find this ep all that interesting.
So thoroughly melancholic and bleak at some moments, where Bowie feels strikingly aware of his own mortality. The instrumentation throughout this record is really intense and distorted, but with much more subtle and softer moments that make it feel a lot more sad. Bowie's vocal performance is also breathtaking, with this ominous aire to it that really takes hold of the listener. Amazing project.
this album in one word is epic. The instrumentation is lush, orchestral and frequently larger than life, while also finding time to be delicate and understated. The vocals throughout are beautiful and well done, with some very strange ideas tossed in here on occasion. There is a lot of experimentation with different instruments whether it be electronics or string sections that really brew intrigue in the listener. Overall a very nice listen, even if I found it a little boring at times, the ... read more
This project is genuinely insane. At times strikingly beautiful, at others harsh and obtuse, this album throws idea after idea at you creating these vibrant sonic landscapes. The creativity on display here is simply enthralling, its hard not to become entranced by just how strange some of these songs come off. This project can be really funny at times, others it can feel somber and melancholic, but it all somehow works creating this scattershot image that feels so lively and unique. Definitely ... read more
