Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

I would like to preface this by saying that this is probably THE most important album in defining me, so there might be a bit of bias in this review.
But oh my god, if this isn't one of the best debut albums in recent memory, possibly of all time. Brimming with character and personality, easy to see why it's such an Indie Rock staple.

Such a bright start for arguably one of the best bands of the 21st century. I do agree with the common sentiment that this album is definitely bloated (around 6 of these tracks are completely unnecessary, ESPECIALLY the "Pretentious Mix" of "Yeah") and it feels more like a mixtape than an album, but so many of these songs absolutely SLAP.
