Most songs on here are executed well, there is just a lottttt of them… enjoyable but kinda hard to get through with each song starting to just blend into the rest. Particularly in the second half there weren’t many songs that really stood out. Should’ve been made a lot shorter.
Crazy highs, but too inconsistent to be rated any higher
Entrancing, futuristic, beautiful and dystopian all at once. So progressive and so much texture built throughout this whole thing, really takes you into a special type of place.

Don't know why I haven't already written a review for this, but I've just had a full listen to the album tonight and it hit for me on a certain level... and convinced me to bump it up from a 98 to a 100. I mean, I couldn't not? Seriously the music is just that good! Transcendent, euphoric, larger than life. Blows me away more every time I listen. The use of synths on here is incredible; you can feel the electronic influences throughout. The drums are so crazily tight and in ... read more
Effective in creating a solid atmosphere, but only really grabs you with interesting ideas a couple of times during its run time, and can often blend into background noise. This is not necessarily a bad thing overall though, and there's a couple of good highlights here. Excited to see what more berlioz can do with this sound in the future.

Such an interesting mix of really heavy emotional moments, and euphoric electronic melodies all across this thing. Some lyrics on here genuinely blew me away. Will definitely have to listen to more from Porter after this.

This man never misses. There is no one making music like him in the industry today.

Super interesting and atmospheric album. So consistent also, as I took something away from pretty much every song on here.

Worth the wait that's for sure! Fantastic return to music from Jamie with this album. Not quite as good as his first, but still great in it's own right. Some of my favourite songs of the year so far are on here, there's just a few too many lower points on here to be comparable to his first. Hopefully we won't be waiting so long for the next album!
Favourite: Baddy On the Floor (9.5)
Least Favourite: The Feeling I Get From You (7.5)
The perfect part 2. When you look at this project as an epilogue to brat it becomes much more enjoyable. As a standalone album though it doesn't hold up quite as well, with some tracks that feel weaker when not viewed in this "part 2" sort of view. Overall though, brat summer never ends.
Favourite: Girl, so confusing featuring lorde (9)

What an unbelievable year for music. Even crazier that this is a debut album?! Cannot wait to see what more Geordie will be able to create in the future.
A solid project from Fred! Love the range of influences you can hear come into this project, from house to ambient. Personally the interludes don’t at all bother me, I think if you removed them the flow of this album would be really damaged, so I think that they’re a positive inclusion here. Some of the tracks later in the album though I found to be a lot less interesting. Otherwise, an enjoyable listen.

A decent debut with a good few highs, but too many lows, which drag the project for me. Here though, The Dare shows his ability to create a catchy songs, write witty lyricism, and produce interesting electronic / rock instrumentals.
