This album creates such a unique vibe throughout that stays pretty consistent across all of the songs. While certain tracks are less interesting than others, each of them improve the album overall and there’s not a bad song on this thing. Overall, a fantastic effort, and one of my favourites of the year so far.

This trilogy looks pretty damn good so far.
Beyoncé is fantastic. There’s not much more to be said. She takes the country genre and bends it to its breaking point, creating something truly fantastic in the process. Her discography gets more impressive with every release, and there’s no signs of slowing down. The album is a little bloated, and could do with some chopping of a couple less inspired tracks, but the highs are real high, and it rewards you for sticking with it. 16 ... read more
Perfect from front to back, zero flaws. There is not a single thing in it that could be improved. Unbelievable.
Very strong vibe throughout, and is pretty consistent across the album too. Sometimes though I think this leads to some repetitiveness, and I would like to see metro push his production a little further, like with tracks like “Like That” and “Everyday Hustle”. Overall enjoyable, but I’m not sure if I’ll listen to this in full anytime soon rather than just playing my favourites.

Fantastic social commentary presented sometimes as pure comedy, and other times as, although subtly, incredibly depressing. Not to mention the fantastic instrumentation soundtracking it all. The sarcasm can sometimes become a little too much though, as hilarious as it usually is.
Favourite: Plastic (8.5)
Least Favourite: Don’t Stop Believing (7)
Incredible switch-ups, really interesting sampling, and an unrelenting drive and intensity through the whole thing.
Favourite: Boy Sent From Above (9)
Least Favourite: Dreamfear (8.5)
The greatest live album ever made, and one of the best things to ever come out of electronic music.
Pure synth-pop bliss.
Favourite: You Slept On Me (9)
Least Favourite: Hardware Software (8)
An album with some great ideas, and pop tracks, but one that is heavily reliant on its singles. While the best here can be described as high-energy, innovative, and even rambunctious, the worst is bland, and uninspired, with little to offer or say. Overall, a promising, but slightly flawed debut from Master Peace.
Favourite: I Might be Fake (9)
Least Favourite: Panic101 (6.5)
Although advertised as a “mixtape”, this project of “scraps” comes together to create an immersive, emotional, and even groundbreaking experience. While not aiming as high as “I Didn’t Mean to Haunt You”, “Scrapyard” sees Quadeca sharpen up all of his musical abilities, production, vocals, and a larger return to rap here too. From his haunting, passionate and almost actor-like vocal performances, to the detailed, intricate and diverse ... read more
