What I consider one of the finest shows from Godspeed's post-hiatus era. Simply magnificent performances, sound wise - it's great as well. If you love GY!BE, but you haven't listened to a lot of shows, I recommend this one. You won't be disappointed.

Panchiko - Ginkgo

so much better than radiohead

Keith Jarrett - The Köln Concert

Imagine your argument for this album being not good being "Well, he just like, played the piano for 1 hour! And that's it!" What was he supposed to do? Sit in silence??? I get that improv is not for everyone and for some it gets boring after a while, but just say that then, it's not hard.

Tim Hecker - Ravedeath, 1972

A very disorienting, but still soothing album, off to a strong start with the Tim Hecker discography!

Low - Christmas

Christmas has never sounded so desolate...

Willy Rodriguez - wetdream

Sadly, very much a mixed bag for me :(

Susanne SundfΓΈr - Ten Love Songs

The best pop album I've heard ever. Amazing how many diverse sounds there are, just brilliant.

Charli xcx - BRAT

Finally, the Charli XCX discography comes to an end with "BRAT" and it's quite a fitting ending.

Ethel Cain - Preacher's Daughter

Despite the length, this was still incredible. "A House in Nebraska" is heartbreaking.

Maruja - Tír na nÓg

Haven't heard a lot of free improv, but this sounded all around nice!

Thank you for 200 followers, you guys are cool!
So I'm gonna make a cool review for this cool album so we can all be cool together. :)

Anyways, I fucking love this album. Nothing about this album is earthly, at all. Right from the beginning with "Hidden Place", we get a certain tension, a cold temptation or an unnerving feeling - this is a trend for a lot of the tracks - and all the instrumentation and Bjork's vocals build upon this sensation until the chorus releases all ... read more

"maybe siouxsie was not the best example, but you get the point lol (was trying to think of an 80s artist)"

"@KadeCaptain If we're talking "all-time" in the context of musical artists and bands, yes, they are absolutely new and still fresh in the musical landscape. To call them "one of, if not the greatest musical act" is a big stretch imo, even in just the psychedelic scene with bands like Pink Floyd, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, etc etc. I am not denying how great MB are, but I think we should wait to call them things like "the greatest", "the best" and so on."

"@Kellan rosemary and showing in las vegas were really cool, title track had some great movements, but both the beginning and ending are the roughest parts of the album, especially the last song - felt like it had no real direction and made it boring and tedious to get through it."

"@Mellesteen well, it's obviously not complete. just like they released only the third part of "Anthem for No State", this is the third part of the longest song on the album. if you want to be spoiled, you can listen to the band playing the new material live to hear the whole song."
