Crazy how music this good came out of the funny block building game, but here we are.
Doo Wop is one of my favorite songs ever written, and this album is full of bangers on that same level. Lauryn Hill is an absolute genius.
The Vengeful One is a top 10 Disturbed track, and there are some other highlights here too but this album is fairly forgettable overall and most people just remember it for their cover of the sound of silence.
Controversial opinion I'm sure but this is my favorite Disturbed album. I was so inspired by this release when I was younger that I picked up the guitar and learned every single track off this album. Putting aside my nostalgia, there are some flaws here, and there are a few songs that don't really hold up, but overall I would still say this is their best outing.
A drop in consistency, but the highs are so much higher that I have to give it some credit. Ten Thousand Fists, Stricken, and Land Of Confusion are TOP TIER Disturbed songs and I will always defend this album for what it did right, even if not every track on this album really lands for me.
Massive step up, and generally a much more consistent outing. Not a single song I would call bad, but we still haven't gotten to peak disturbed yet. Darkness is such an interesting track that always confused me as a kid, but as a adult I've come to really appreciate it and it's message. Overall a very very solid album that I still love returning to.
Truly an iconic album, but honestly it's very hit or miss for me. Bangers like The Game or Meaning Of Life really salvage this otherwise not very impressive album.
Narcissistic Cannibal is great, but that's about the only positive I can list here.
Here to Stay is incredible, but the rest is mostly forgettable. Davis' songwriting still the highlight.
Hard to believe this album has both the best and worst Korn song of all time on it.
