Also my favorite album of all time. Unparalleled imo, incredibly inventive and surreal.

Stand-outs: The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, In the Cage, Back in N.Y.C. The Carpet Crawlers, The Chamber of 32 Doors, The Lamia, The Colony of Slippermen

Incredible album that doesn't lose steam anywhere in its runtime. Very engaging, gorgeous and just top-notch prog

Stand-outs: Dancing with the Moonlit Night, Firth of Fifth, The Battle of Epping Forest, The Cinema Show

Supper's Ready is my favorite song of all time and the other side is also incredible. Doesn't quite hold up to Selling England though.

Stand-outs: Get 'Em Out By Friday, Can-Utility and the Coastliners, Supper's Ready

Great early album with tons of amazing ideas. The sound is just way more fleshed out in the following few albums

Stand-outs: The Musical Box, The Return of the Giant Hogweed, The Fountain of Salmacis

Also great, but not as mind-blowing as the Gabriel-era stuff. The band continues to be extremely capable and creative.

Stand-outs: Dance on a Volcano, Entangled, Mad Man Moon, Ripples

Great album that displays both the trio's prog capabilities and pop brilliance.

Stand-outs: Behind the Lines, Duchess, Turn it on Again, Duke's Travels

Edging on greatness with some amazing tracks, but the incocistency weighs it down

Stand-outs: One for the Vine, Blood on the Rooftops, Afterglow

Extremely solid album, no real weak points and just really well crafted

Stand-outs: Mama, That's All, Home by the Sea

Less fleshed out but a really good effort from an early Genesis

Stand-outs: Waiting for Someone, The Knife

No one can make me dislike this album, it has some incredible songs but is also weighed down by its inconcistency.

Stand-outs: No Son of Mine, Jesus He Knows Me, Driving the Last Spike, Dreaming While You Sleep, Tell Me Why, Fading Lights

While a good album, this project lacks direction

Stand-outs: Down and Out, Undertow, The Lady Lies

A good pop effort with a handful of bangers.

Stand-outs: Invisible Touch, Land of Confusion

It just feels very bland and unfinished.

Stand-outs: Abacab, Dodo / Lurker

It's an alright album for what it is, but it just doesn't compare to what Genesis would become in the following years

Stand-outs: The Serpent, In the Wilderness

Just unnecessary and so, so bland.
