Great listening experience with fresh sounds, its energetic, intense and emotional. It’s a solid album, with great tracks like the light parts 1 and 2, don’t shoot up the party and when I ball. Pet Sounds showcased a lot of sadness, if Pet Sounds is hardships, this album is the light at the end of the tunnel. Sunflower is a great experience, capturing a perfect essence of childhood, sunshine and having a good time. Vince has overcome hard times, depression and sadness fill the album, but through hardships, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This album represents a period all of us had, some for a short time, some for longer, some ongoing, some overcame. One of the album superpowers of 2024, truly a great album I enjoyed, it can also be repetitive and there are flaws.. 8.5/10

It is consistent, but blends different sounds, it’s title track really sums up the album. Great mellow sounds, some high paced and some slow. It’s a mixture of all things great about Brockhampton, one of the best if not the best hip hop album of 2019. 8.6/10.

From hard and rough, to melodic and melancholic, Peggy combines two eccentric styles of his, which comes out crazy good. With his spitting reflecting on some early elements he used in his music career, and bringing in new experimental sounds. Peggy with another classic, it achieves greatness on multiple listens. Perfect, an almost perfect song. I think this song captures a melancholy feeling so well, of love, a bit of obsession. A weird perspective on love at times, but love. Funny but interesting storytelling, highlight of the album. Me and my brother like this song, it’s a certified banger. Whether it’s a metaphor for climate change, or domestication of animals? It’s a great track, the “if man is five, then the devil is six, then god is 7” is great with the album cover, showing a 5, 6 and 7 on the cover. Most consistent song on here to be honest, high ratings that are deserved. This was originally on gkmc I believe, and if we go to the plot. It would have been Track 1, not really going anywhere with the plot. Except talking about his childhood, and he uses great metaphors to describe Compton and a child, he describes how he grew up in a “sandbox”. A great message to move and push forward through struggle, while also being literal while talking about walking. The crazy good production, along with the beautiful wordplay you can expect from Denzel, you can find a great “walking” track, and a great track in general. It is one Denzel’s most mature songs, and one of his best. 9.8/10.

Denzel opens up about his past experiences, using metaphors with the black balloons. Talking about pain, he uses black balloons to symbolise his pent up sadness and his pain. And when the black balloons pop, after they have lingered with him, the pain goes out. And he can find some happiness, great wordplay and great track. 9.3/10.

Best album of the 2010s and possibly of all time, my favourite album I have on loop. #1 in my top 5 at this moment, this album is crazy good and I can’t describe how great this masterpiece is but I’ll try:

The vibrant, energetic feelings ooze out of this project, and they are legendary. This project can deliver warm feelings, and lonely at the end of the journey feelings.

The first song has a great sample from Marvin Gaye, the warm summer feeling, like going through a night drive in the city. Power Stone really feels like Christmas, at around the 2:50 mark we reach a melancholy type beat, very 2000s. Denzel does outshine Peggy here, just a little bit. Even though he is a feature, Denzel raps for longer and has better bars. BALD has a great beat, the sample and how it’s used is really crazy. Denzel really goes crazy, wish a critic would have some music taste to give this a review. 9.2/10.
