I haven't listened to much J Cole just in general but I heard about the hype this album had (and after Cole mentioned Lupe Fiasco in that one interview). Goddammit I see the hype. I prefer DISC39 over DISC29, the performances feel "smoother" if that makes sense, and 39 Intro... my god. Sure this album is way longer then I'd like but honestly if you're even just a casual hip hop fan, I'd consider this worth a listen.

Well that run krit had was fun. His first 3 studio albums were excellent work out of krit, especially Cadillactica (Lupe Fiasco my beloved) and 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time. My expectations were really high and the first 3 tracks here were bops (not including the interludes) then it just gradually started getting more and more shit, besides Believe & Blue Flame Ballet both being nice bounce backs and pretty good songs, this album closed out in such a shit way. And they say modern hip-hop is dead. ITS is another display of Aesop Rock's creativity and the production is unique which isn't a bad thing. Great listen in a year where albums were mid.

Simple, yet consistent. Its a good listen, surprised to see aes drop twice in one year tho shit I ain't complaining.

I'm slowly realizing that the Lice is get worse with each release (besides Season 4 which i thought was a step up) but its a steady decline so I won't whine about it too much. Pizza and Burgers is hilarious btw

Its better and worse than the first, I felt the production was a bit of a step down, but I did enjoy aesop & sandman's performances more here, still worth a listen.

The first ever Lice EP has aged like fine wine. Aesop continues to prove how he can rap about really anything, Sandman contributions are great and the production is amazing

I actually thought he made longer versions with an extra verse or something (my biggest issue was with how many of the songs were too short). I was dissapointed.
I just noticed that its called Miami Lice and they're Lice on the cover.
This is worth a listen, its fun. Always enjoy it when Aes and Sandman collab

It did feel like krit fell off for a while didn't it? His run from 2010-2017 which included his best album Cadillactica & the masterpiece known as 4eva Is a Mighty Longtime, then K.R.I.T.
