Nice album. Would be a shame if someone were to under rate it.

Seriously though. This is a good album and would have been mind blowing in 1971 but, I just didn't gel with it to the point where I would give it a 90 or something. Still, Funkadelic are great

IMO, the definitive Art Pop album. Just amazing

One of the best Beatles albums of all time and sometimes my personal favourite. It's long but plentiful and varied enough to never be boring. I haven't had the opportunity to see the Cirque du Soleil performance yet but the music is definitely amazing, that's a certainty.

I probably wasn't high enough to fully get this album. Still very good psychedelic rock, though.

What a record. Jazzy, folky and incredibly well performed. There isn't a missed beat in this album with a lot to offer in a short but complete album

Following up C418's legacy is actually really hard but Lena did a really good job. Keeping the vibe that C418 started with but adding her own twist with music that's a but more melodic, this wasn't just a change for Minecraft's gameplay but also its iconic music

More amazing ambient downtempo for the most popular block game of all time and, like Volume Alpha, Volume Beta is really good regardless of whether you're playing Minecraft or not.

This isn't just great because of childhood nostalgia, Volume Alpha is superb. Some of the best ambient to ever be released with a vibe that's light, thought-provoking and open to interpretation. This is the definitive Soundtrack for a reason

Bad Europop obviously just made to make money. I'm sure Guetta could do better if he tried

Actual horseshit. I hate the trend of remaking existing songs but worse and this is one of the worse culprits

Catchy and dark; this is Mayberry at her best

Screen Violence sees CHVRCHES go for a very different vibe that is definitely an improvement on Love Is Dead. There's a rockier undertone to this album that brings back the darkness and grit in an unexpected way. Overall, this album brings CHVRCHES back on track

Just a bit bland compared to the trio's first 2 albums

CHVRCHES improve in many ways but also lose a little bit of charm in their second album. The production is a big step up, making CHVRCHES sound a little bit more "proper", losing the DIY sound that I kind of enjoyed in the previous record. Still, overall, Every Open Eye is another step in the right direction

Retro-inspired electropop produced to a super high standard. There's a shadow of darkness over this album that makes it quite emotive and unique compared to the 80s artists that pioneered this sound 30+ years earlier

There are only a couple of tracks worth listening to here. The rest is boring, grating, and unoriginal, simply stealing ideas from those who have done it better, including early Muse

I used to like this album, but over time, I've realised that it's just generic. There are a couple of great tracks (Reapers, Defector, The Globalist) but everything else is a bit boresome

Start is good, end is... not good

This is where I start to see Muse drop a bit in quality. Some of these tracks are genuinely good but there is a lot here that I'm not keen on.

Muse peaked early so they were already passed their best by this album but that doesn't mean that it's bad- far from it. Whilst it doesn't have the consistency of prior releases, BHAR has some amazing peaks without many troughs.
