i really enjoyed this and it’s cool that she made up a conlang but PLEASE stop using ai for album covers !!
huge glow up from the original. especially the first two songs. “oh completely- luke temple remix” reminds me of “one of your girls” by troye sivan
i don’t even really like jazz so this is huge coming from me. there was enough going on for it to stay interesting
loading screen musc. sounds AI generated. that being said i would enjoy it as loading screen music it just falls flat as something to just sit down and listen to. especially for how long it is
i agree with those saying the first half is better than the second. really beautiful dissonant wave phonk. i hear many people complaining about phonk sounding samey lately so this was refreshing. the highlights for me were “game over” and “enter dream mode”

the title of the album is just listing other things i would rather be doing than listening to this
i’ve been revisiting medicine quite a bit
convincing, wedding dress, change of heart, and wish i didn’t were pretty good
the other songs didn’t stick out to me
the only different version i liked better was the patti harrison remix of i’ll be gone
i really enjoyed this. sure it sounds amateur but it’s fun and fresh, whimsical and punchy. the raw, emotion-filled vocals form an interesting contrast juxtaposed with digital, videogamey instrumentals. it offers a lot of variety without ever feeling incohesive. this was a wonderfully refreshing listen and i wish it had more recognition
there weren’t any songs i disliked which is impressive for a 15-song album, but nothing really stood out, all the songs sounded alike and generic. i have more respect for an album that takes risks at the cost of some flops.
imo the best songs were writings on the wall, solo and national anthem but not by a huge margin as all the songs were in the range of “pleasant but not memorable”
