I feel like Kanye kept what made him so great from his two prior albums and just added even more personality when it comes to "Graduation". Kanye made so many iconic songs and a great handful of them are on this album. Really one of the all time greats.
I feel like this is just building upon "College Dropout" while keeping his iconic style (which is a good thing). This album starts off VERY strong but does fall down a bit, but still stays good and is an improvement of "College Dropout" for me
First album from Kanye and already here he made something so iconic which is just brimming with his style
I mean it is pretty good but has a few stinkers on here that I see no reason for being on the album, but sadly they. So it ends up being a bit over an hour where you spend half the time waiting for the nice good flows and rhymes that eminem does best, instead of just purely 30-40 minutes of that.
Some of the lines on here are definitely not it though....
Great collab album. I really liked the parts where the music went 🎵 𝄞 🎸 𝄫 🎷🎶
The songs here range over a different kind of styles which makes some greater than other but I still feel like all the songs stay within the theme of summer
TV girl has a pretty unique style to me which I enjoy but I have been quite tired of them as of late, still a good album
What an absolutely gut wrenching album, you can really feel the emotion and the dark themes of this album is really what makes it so great, it feels so personal.
It does remind me a bit of deathconciousness which I love.
First time listening to Vampire Weekend. I don’t really know what to say other than I liked it and it has a really cool cover.
Will probaly give it another listen in the future.
The name of this album is very fitting, such a soft and somber sounding project in a really pleasent way. I feel like the somber feels probably comes from her mother sadly passing away from her battle against cancer, which is something tragic no one should experience and I hope that this album helped her vent during tough times.
The tracks on here are beautiful but knowing that she made this while her mother was battling cancer makes the tracks even more impactful
I tried to give this a listen during exam season but I stopped because I really felt like I was in the wrong mindset, so I am very glad I came back and gave it another listen. I actually think the last two tracks are my favorite on here, great stuff.
Also funny that she named it after that one youtube channel that makes those "odd man out" impostor videoes
Yes this might not be as good as "Melodrama" but I feel like people are too harsh on it. It is still good and most songs on here feels like Lorde while some are a bit different which I think is totally fine.
The Weeknd might be the biggest name when it comes to 2020s music and rightfully so this is such a vibe. Only thing that confuses me is why the song "Blinding Lights" is not more popular, it is pretty usual for The Weeknd to make hit songs so the fact that it isn't very popular really suprises me.
Yeah this is not it. The only song I did not really mind was "B.O.A.T" but throughout most the album I was thinking about just stopping and it reminded me why I for the most part only listen to music I think I would like. Then again Camilla does have some older songs that I don't mind, I do like "Shameless" from her album "Romance"
I feel like this is such a one of a kind album with tracks experimenting in a varity of different ways but every track still somehow seem like it belongs on here. That wouldn't matter though if the tracks were bad but luckily they are really good. Great shit!
Recommended to me by a friend, whilst some of the songs are pretty great and has some nice flows, I feel like it is a bit too long which makes the songs melt together and lose their personality
Honestly, I did not think too much of this on my first listen but after having given it another listen my only complaint is that all the songs except "Guillotine" are only uploaded on spotify as fucking podcast episodes. This and "Bottomless Pit" are my shared second favorite album/work that Death Grips have made
