PARTYNEXTDOOR - $ome $exy $ongs 4 U
45

I don't want to hate just for the reason of hating and I honestly had pretty low expectations going into this album and honestly it was a bit better than I expected. Buuuut having said that it is by no means goooood I would honestly call it my favorite word "Mid" with the only memorable songs being "MEET YOUR PADRE" which is so bad it might actually be good and "NOKIA" which is honestly a bit of a vibe. Other than that I feel like the whole album is just so ... read more

Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
73

This album might be deep but I might be deeper

Magdalena Bay - A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling
81

My only real complaint here is that it is quite short but I feel like some songs on here is at least of the same quality as some of the songs off Mercurial world

Magdalena Bay - Mercurial World
85

Woweee they really bring forth an dreamy album here with song after song that takes you on a trip to somewhere you didn’t know existed.

The transition from “dawning of the season” to “secrets” is 10/10

I Monster - A Dense Swarm of Ancient Stars
74

Funky mix of songs. Definetly an experience with multiple weird yet enjoyable songs. Though the weird mix of songs is also what drags it down. I'm not saying an album gotta be coherent but it does not really give you an chance to digest the music that well in my opinion.

("Lust For a Vampyr" is a bop)

Doechii - Alligator Bites Never Heal
83

Doechii’s first Album/mixtape is great and definitely her best work as of date. My first introduction to Doechii was from Balloon on Chromokopia which might be my least liked song from that album but after that I have been listening to tracks from Alligator bites never heal quite a but and found myself really enjoying a lot of them. The only critique I have is that some songs fall a bit flat and feels unnecessary. Overall though strong album and I have become something of a fan

Doechii - Oh The Places You'll Go
72

An clear improvement on her previous EP and I feel like Doechii starts sounding more confident in her music capabilities and delivers with multiple great songs

Doechii - Coven Music Session, Vol. 1
60

Early Doechii gives a sample taste of whats to come in the future, but it falls a bit flat because only 1 song here feels complete while the others as I mentioned before seems like samples that end before you really have to chance to fall in love with them.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
88

Kendrick just opened his mouth, he got 5 more grammys right now. A bit late to the party on this one but I am not scared to glaze the already glazed man, this is full with bangers without being a concept album if that is what you call albums like TBAP or GKMC. Anyways I will probaly be listening to the songs from GNX a shit ton now. Top 3 Kendrick album for sho

Phoebe Bridgers - Stranger in the Alps
79

I have not reviewed or even listened to much music lately and I think its because I have lost motivation from knowing that spotify wrapped doesn't track at this time of the year, anways next year I will hopefully listen to alot of music again and pump out reviews. I have had Phoebe Bridgers on my radar for quite some time now and wanted to give one of her albums a listen, so I did and its great. I will most likely give it a relisten and review next year but for now this is fine.

Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA
84

I have listened to Chromakopia a good handful of times now and it has definetly grown on me a bit from my first listen. Still I think as of now it falls in 4th place of Tyler albums for me but I can 100% see people having it as their 2nd or 3rd favorite Tyler album. It might just be because it is still quite new but for me I feel like it is missing a song that will end up being that one classic Tyler banger song which his last few albums had IMO. Then again time might prove me wrong. Anyways ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
86

In preparation for chromakopia coming out tomorrow at the time of this review I decided I finally listen to CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST and I was ofc not disappointed. This album has a really nice natural flow from song to song and contains multiple bangers. I have high expectations for chromakopia and for Tyler to keep his hot streak of amazing albums

Black Sabbath - Paranoid
85

Some of the nastiest riffs I have ever heard

84

They say jump, you say how high?🤟😈

Massive Attack - Mezzanine
95

I had seen this album show up multiple places before and I was quite intrigued from the cover art (and because people seem to rate it quite highly) but I had no idea what to expect. Trip Hop is not something I was acquainted with, the best way I can describe this album is psychedelic and trance inducing but in the best way. Will keep listening to multiple of the songs from this for sure. Its a vibe.

(Have been listening to this a lot and wow, I have fallen more and more in love with the tracks ... read more

Geordie Greep - The New Sound
86

This shit goooood, from what I know this seems like a debut solo album from Geordie Greep, I have not listened to any of the Black Midi albums yet but I might after having listened to this. It has some almost musical vibes at times which I both really enjoy but it is also what sometimes makes the album not a 90+ rated one for me after my first listen. The Jazz-rock on here slams though.

Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence
78

Even though the bald man really don't like this idc. I feel like this is very Lana and has multiple great Lana hits

Kero Kero Bonito - Time 'n' Place
80

An interesting listen for sure

Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats - UNLOCKED
84

Denzel might be goated. I really enjoyed this cartoonish almost MF DOOM format the album has. I do kinda wish it was longer though

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
77

The album is good but I honestly expected a bit more, the two last tracks ended up being my favorites on my first listen. It is really short though so might revisit it at some point
