Kool G Rap - Last of a Dying Breed
68

Solid showing from G Rap on this album. My only complaints about this project are that it is too feature heavy and some of the production. The features weren't bad but was wanting more solo tracks. Songs like Official and Donald Goines were standouts here and were both on his own.

Foo Fighters - Your Favorite Toy
41

Coming off their best album, this was very disappointing.

Brent Faiyaz - Icon
95

Icon is a phenomenal album. I always liked Brent's music but the albums fell short. This album is him living up to the hype and making the elite album he's capable of. Four seasons, world is yours and have to are the stand out tracks for me on Icon. For me this is easily the best r&b album of the decade so far.

dälek - Brilliance of a Falling Moon
67

Very solid album, but can drag on a bit.

Nas - Nastradamus
40

This is obviously Nas's worst album by a mile but still has some good songs on here. Come get me and You owe me are great off this album. It's interesting to see you owe me get hate, fans wanted Nas to make more hits and when he did they said he sold out. Although there are some solid songs here it does have his worst song which is Big girl.

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
84

This album exceeded my expectations. After hearing punk rocky, I was a little nervous about this project. After listening to this, Don't be dumb is everything I wanted testing to be. He went with new sounds and it worked here.

LL COOL J - THE FORCE
85

This album is great. He was able to give that 90s hip hop sound while not sounding dated. LL Cool J proves that you can still release really good hip hop in your 50's.

Deante' Hitchcock - Junkie in The Sun
90

First time hearing Deante Hitchcock rap and was very impressed with this. Definitely an AOTY contender. Excited to see how he follows up this album.

JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
46

Jpegs music has never really been for me. His production is pretty interesting here and there, loved his money in the bank sample on this album tho. On this album or others of his, his lyricism never really jumped off the page for me.

The UN - UN or U Out
87

Repeating another reviewer but this is a hidden gem album. It was cool hearing a young Roc Marciano before he went on to have a solo career. Very solid rapping and production across the board on this album. I'm shocked that this album isn't more highly regarded amongst underground hip hop albums.

Pusha T - My Name Is My Name
90

One of the more slept on debut albums of all time. Pusha T has been on the scene way before this dropped with clipse, but he delivers on his first solo project.

Rick Ross - Deeper Than Rap
92

The perfect combination of beats and lyricism from Ross.

Rakim - The 18th Letter
100

Rakim's debut does not disappoint. He shows on this why he's one of the best to do it. This has to be in the conversation for one of the best rap albums of the 90's.

Big K.R.I.T. - Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz Vol. 1
87

I was late to the Big Krit train when he was coming up and this was the first album of his I listened to when it first came out. This album shows that Krit can make a fun album. Is it lyrically his best? No it isnt, but this is a very enjoyable listen front to back.

50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Tryin'
100

This album is phenomenal, I don't understand the hate with this album on here.

Eminem - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)
73

Eminem has been very hit or miss post Eminem Show. He went back to the slim shady roots on this. What made it special in the past is now gone, but is still an enjoyable listen.

Lloyd Banks - Halloween Havoc V
94

Best of the Halloween Havoc Series. Lloyd banks continues to showcase what makes him one of the best out there.

Skyzoo - All The Brilliant Things
90

This album needs to be mentioned in more discussions to be one of the best albums of the decade. Skyzoo's ability to drop a concept album like this is unmatched. Skyzoo is lowkey one of the most consistent rappers out there.

The Game - Gangsta Grillz: E.M.N.T - The Credits
86

This is the type of project I have been wanting out of the Game for years. This definitely got me ready for the Documentary 3. The Game still has it!

"@Jebraham you're so spot on about zig zag. One of the worst songs I've heard in a while. Wayne would've been crucified for making that song with that lyrical content."

On Dankii's review of Lil Wayne & DJ Drama - Dedication 3
"@Danki_Reviews When he's on, hes on. But when he's not its very bad. He is a very good rapper don't get me wrong but he has too many misses for me to consider him the best of all time if that makes sense."
On Dankii's review of Lil Wayne & DJ Drama - Dedication 3
"You always hear that this time period was when Wayne was the "best rapper alive" and "making everyones songs his". He showcased neither of this in D3 which was supposed to be his prime. Why is this?"
