Chance the Rapper - Acid Rap
73

Chance the Rapper's Acid Rap presents a quite enjoyable eccentric listening experience. The production is pretty good and lyrically Chance is showing some creativity. Chance's performances sound like he's having fun and most likely is trying to have fun on this.

With the interesting samples and beats on this thing, it's hard not to be immersed in this mixtape. It is especially easy to follow and most of these songs are pretty catchy having heavy replay value. And in this ... read more

Lupe Fiasco - DRILL MUSIC IN ZION
71

Lupe Fiasco creates a very enjoyable, compact, inventive, and thorough jazz rap record that fits together nicely. Lyrically, it is excellent, and the production is sharp and seamless.

Death Grips - Year of the Snitch
79

The latest LP from Death Grips, "Year of the Snitch," is possibly their weirdest and intriguing album yet. Despite its short duration, this record is pretty rewarding & thrilling as a whole. This has a fundamental progression that is incredibly creative and artistic throughout. VERY enjoyable throughout the entire album. The instrumentals and overall coherence of this record are fantastic. I've noticed that this album features a lot of enjoyable instrumentals that have been ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
68

'Wolf' is a step up from 'Goblin'. However, it seems to carry some of the same problems. With somewhat uninspiring production at points feeling kind of empty. And of course, the edginess. Other than that, everything has gotten better. This album also is pretty long and carries this aura that can make it hard to get through. And you can't sit through it without getting bored at least once. Overall, a mixed bag of songs, some can be pretty enjoyable, whereas others can be quite dull.

Tyler, The Creator - Goblin

Primarily bad overall but cool concept and a select few of pretty good tracks

biggest complaint is how long this album drags on and the obvious awful production at points

Quadeca - SCRAPYARD III

What a silly goober

Drake - For All The Dogs

AND ANOTHER MISS 🔥🔥🔥

There is absolutely no need for this to be 20+ tracks. ESPECIALLY DRAKE. Just another bland and boring Drake record for me with a few hits on it and definitely a few awful tracks. Overall, very frustrating and has really nothing of substance. The feature list is nice though.

Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend
41

Eh, very bland and basic lyrically, and not really a whole lot to the sound either. It doesn't really connect with me despite the nice and grandiose production.
