this just further proves why godspeed you is one of the best bands of all time, they're still insanely consistent even after their highly acclaimed albums. the atmosphere in this conveyed through the instrumentals is just innovative. a must listen to everyone who loves post rock.

charli xcx whoooo?????? this album blows every single pop album of this year out of the water, the production is so versatile and has so much variety. every song is a straight banger, the sound doesn't follow a single genre; there's elements of rock, pop, synth, psychedelic. it's so sonically dense. death & romance is easily song of the year contender.

goated mixtape, there's genuinely some dogshit moments and corny lyrics but the good cuts of the tape are absolutely legendary. the beat on zombies, the melodic vocals and guitars on drugs you should try it, the insane flow on sloppy toppy, everything on skyfall. this still holds up in his discography and it's defo better than birds that conversation should never be had.

this is actually obnoxiously bad, I never thought I'd say that ty dolla sign carried this, the album literally just sounds like a demo it doesn't feel refined or finished. plus why tf did kanye ruin sky city. "we're gonna be united like manchester" what the fuck was that bar it's so bad.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR DROPPED HE CAN'T STOP MISSING. literally every new album peggy does has a new sound. front to end this was heat, the thrash hard guitar samples, the insane flow on all the songs, the features, the corny but fire rapping. peggy cannot fall off, he's just that guy now

ethereal, comforting, heartful. there was a point on this album during Ný batterí where I just sat and thought about how beautiful music can be, I have no idea what the lyrics translate to but even with a language barrier you can still hear how much soul is put into every single song. music can evoke so many emotions, this album is sonically beautiful, every sound just fills you with some kind of hope.

absolutely fucking phenomenal, insanely underrated album in billy's discography, how this doesn't get the same praise as some of his other works is so crazy. the lyricism and wordplay is concise and straightforward, not as ambiguous as his other albums but nonetheless you can never truly decipher all of billy woods' lyrics, no matter how much you reach into his stuff there's always a deeper meaning, he always finds a way to rap about mundane things with such complexity. bars ... read more
