This record is a very pleasent and relaxing listen and while the tracks stay consistent, that makes the album a little repetetive and not really memorable as nothing sticks out.
It perfectly fits in Brent’ discography and is probably my favorite album of his.
listening to this album is a very dark and powerful experience, the sadness in in seems basically engraved - like it’s never going to leave you and you’ll just have to learn to live with it. the songs feel raw and you can feel the grief basically vibrating off of this record. This album feel like a chaotic fight, like trying to beat that ever present sadness and moving on with your life but failing over and over to make any progress.
This album sounds like what the clean girl aesthetic looks like (the cover potrays what the album sounds like perfectly tbh). It’s not a bad record, but it just lacks personality and something that would make this album more memorable.
