Great beats here, Drake stays on beat for the most part with only a few slip ups. 305 To My City, Connect and Own It are the only skips because they’re really boring, but even with those skips, the album remains great and right on par with IYRTITL. My favourite song is From Time, with its heavenly Jhene Aiko verse, Drake’s locked in rapping and the beat switch at the end? What an easy 10/10.

TRACK BY TRACK REVIEW:
BUSY (90)
-I love how smooth the beat is, yet how rough the drums are, it’s so nice. This song is so catchy, rapping is great and I love it. Only slight problem with it is the singing on the hook, but it’s not that bad, just a little messy.
SIRENS (100)
-Masterpeice. The weird inflection mixed with that incredible hook, great lyricism and wavy beat make such perfect song.

Intro (88)
-I love how simply the concept gets introduced, and how after this song you can tell when it’s Boat or Yachty. Beats are both great, so simple yet so good, and the flows are fire. Even though the “diamonds so cold you might need a fan” line is technically wrong, it’s still delivered so well. Both halves are great, but I like Boat’s part more.

At first listen on maybe one video, this song isnt bad. When I really hear the whole song and get absolutely swamped with this song every day on my feed, this song really is unredeemable and SO corny. The unhappy lyric and the Marco Polo thing is actually painful. No hate to doechii, just this is nowehere near here best work, AT ALL.
“I threw this little mixtape together because I love y’all.”
Suits this tape pretty well tbh. Some really solid beats, standard rapping with a few okay tracks. The best songs on this album are really great, and are super underrated in Mac’s catalog. The title track has a wonderful beat, The Come Up on BBR did really great and I love how jazzy People Under The Stairs is.
