I think this is the only Future Palace song I actively dislike. The lyrics are so cringy and the delivery on Maria's vocals and the guest vocals is so overdone.
Still hyped for this album though!

Behold Here's Poison are back with another album announcement which is wild, because I don't think Innocent was that far back, and they released the deluxe as well.
But I'm not complaining- Walking On Tracks went so incredibly hard, and now this is more melodic but still has that heavy asf breakdown. Definitely on the hype train!

This is quickly becoming one of my AOTYs. It's grown on me so much since release day. Even the songs that weren't my thing personally, I can still appreciate the level of creativity and the incredible production value on them. So yes, it was worth the wait. I actually despise this song. This is a band who made Color Decay, Transit Blues, and With Roots Above and Branches Below.

While this really is a good record, it doesn't have a lasting impact on me like Sonder or War Of Being did. Maybe I just have to listen to it more- I'll update the score as I relisten in the future.

The guitars sound like explosions. Literal explosions. That snare is so damn punchy and St Anger-y!
The songwriting is by far the most mature stuff I've heard from a hardcore band ever, and I'm really into hardcore.

Dude, this album is really not it. My biggest gripe isn't even with the music itself even though it's the most generic shit I've ever heard, it's the damn AI voice interludes that add absolutely nothing to the album or its story and just make it a pain to listen to.
I hid all the interludes in my spotify and tried to listen to the album that way, and that's when I realised that the lyrics are horrible as well.
Yeah, this is not it.
