these are just some cute tunes, something to turn your mind off too and just vibe. Yeah, the songs don’t change up a whole bunch, but they’re different enough for it to still be a nice listen.
This is just like my penor when it foes that you know what (ejagolate). ๐
Kenny, we need to have a talk.
Listen, I love Kenny mason. I love his flows and the way he effortlessly glides on any beat. I love that he dips into different lanes like rock, making him stand out even more. I love his persona and his character. I’m gonna be blunt, this album is lacking in all of that.
First off, the rapping. I mean, it’s good. Nothing crazy, just good quality stuff. This isn’t really a major issue of the album, it actually carries it a bit to be honest. ... read more
Yes my child, guide that pig to a new light. (we're having bacon tonight)
This album is something I think I’ll never fully grasp. It’s not straight forward in the slightest, I’m gonna be honest. It’s very complicated from the get go, and immediately you can tell if this is for you or not. For me, I was in it for the long haul. The sounds m.i.a. bring to this are wide and varied, genre hoping and bending like there’s no tomorrow. The production is great most of the time, and every song feels like it holds some purpose for being here. ... read more
And this is the best they ever got (but the new singles might be foreshadowing a change). This is so simple, yet so much more gratifying than any of their other albums. So many beautiful points and amazing vocals too. I like that it’s longer too, feels like a nice jumping off point for future endeavors (even if they end up being beyond mediocre). I hope this is the blueprint for the new album, cuz if it is then I might have aoty on the way. As it stands now tho, it’s a great album ... read more

it’s cute. like that’s literally it, just cute. nothing serious, nothing too engaging, just nice and simple cuteness.
Istg I was NOT expecting salad lmaoooo. Genuinely a great indie rock record with a lot of heart and passion, not to mention awesome ass choruses that leave you knocked out on a stretcher.
What the actual hell why the fuck do I actually not hate this I’m slowly losing my mind wtf why does this sound not bad to my ears cuz i find enjoyment in the weird ass vocals and production i think my mind is officially cooked
Do I like the songs? Yeah they’re pretty good. Do I desperately need jean to make a longer more fulfilling listen? Yes.
Wow this was unexpected. This is pretty close to perfect, and I’m really considering giving a 100. It’s nice and short, not taking up too much time. The vocals are great, not leaving me bored or drained for even a second. The sounds played with on this album are very cool too, and that’s what sold me the most on it. James takes shoegaze and indie rock, and focuses them in more of a pop lens. Not pulling this off could’ve led to a cheap plastic-y sound, but the execution ... read more
pink is supposed to be a happy color why the hell is everybody melting into primordial goop ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Yeah it's a bit of a mess, and yeah some of the songs fall flat, but it still surprisingly has more highs than lows. I think this album wasn’t really going for cohesion, it was going for a more mixtape kinda feel. If you think of it like that, it works well. Most of the songs are well produced, and most of the features kill it. Some songs are duds and have nothing going for them, but those are sprinkled far enough apart for it to still work for me. (also the amazing noise pop song in here ... read more
At times a bit annoying, but overall a gratifying listen that shows that willow has a ton of talent and ambition. I really liked the raw emotion in her voice, even if it did get a bit much for some songs. The potential here is massive though, and I think a more refined album could make her even more formidable.
Am I missing something here? I mean yeah it’s cool and the production is nice, but it’s just kinda boring. I still like it, the songs just don’t really go anywhere or do anything.
