the atmosphere this album builds is something straight out of space. It’s so airy, but at the same time so full of life. It takes you on a journey, the constant serenity making it all worth it. A very rewarding listen.
we're living in the future old man, they even have autotune in the toilets now!!!!!!
AUTOTUNE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! A TRUN IN DIRECTION TO A MORE POP-Y SOUND?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WEIRD MIXING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I'M IN LOOOOOVE πππππππππππππππππππ
The way that this negs the first album is crazy. Take this as my unofficial review of the first one, it’s very boring with a few highlights. But this one? Holy shit it steps it up so much. The vocals are livelier, the production is 10x better, and the vibes are immaculate. It really is just an intimate dreamscape that pulls you in and lulls you into a peaceful state of euphoria. Such an awesome record, highly recommend.
age of consent is better than blue monday, and it's their best song. like, i had no idea what to expect with this album tbh, i just picked it cuz i really liked the cover and i heard blue monday before. well, this is pretty amazing... so yeah, good job past me.

We need to have a talk about boundaries and toxicity.
Now, first of all I'm gonna state the obvious. No, not all Kanye fans are mindless drone robots who constantly berate others for their opinions. In fact, I assume most fans of him have some level of decency and just respect others no matter what they think. Is that wishful thinking? Maybe, but i still choose to believe it. However, more and more on this website, i ... read more
TO ANYONE WHO LIKES SHOEGAZE OR DREAM POP, PRETTY PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM.
THIS SHIT MAKES ME WANNA SEASON MY FOOD WITH THE BLOOD OF MY ENEMIES, FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!
"So let's take a bunch of genres and vocal styles, mix em up, and filter it all through a jazz lens."
that's literally the album, and its great.
glaive, baby, can we talk about how pretty ur nails are??????
when I started listening to this album, I had no idea what I was walking into. All I knew was that it was some kind of hyperpop thing, that’s it. as I listened to the album I got more and more comfortable with it, taking in all the abrasive sounds and insane vocals. It was gratifying when it all clicked by the end when I realized that I really, REALLY, like it. it’s so left field and crazy, but it doesn’t dive off the deep end so much that it cant serve up some bangers too. ... read more
Wow... this is really something special. I've never been a huge fan of this kinda music, but holy shit lostrushi does something so different on here. i can't even put my finger on it, but i can just feel the difference when i put this on compared to someone like hi-c. this hits so hard and has so many incredible moments, i couldn't recommend it enough.
so let's say that supposedly there was an artist named ericdoa. now, this man sometimes does livestreams in his room, singing over a looped track. now, for hypotheticals sake, lets say he wanted to describe an interesting scenario. one that could possibly reshape what it means to be an artist. the most difficult questions are birthed form a place of pure curiosity and wonder, and ericdoa did just that. he asked one of the most harrowing questions of the 21st century. what if, as a thought ... read more
they wanna crush my skull (and kill me)
but instead they crush my heart (still killing me)
I wanna hug that mysterious little guy.
Glass beach comes back with an album that changes up their sound so drastically, you'd think they were a different band. Now it's not so far of a change where the roots are completely torn, but more of a grand evolution of sound. First things first, the vocals on this are VERY different from the first album. They sound less whimsical and more... subdued? They work great here because the sounds across this album are more subdued too. Don't let that fool ... read more
