me when i walk through the snow in an endless white void (i will never see civilization ever again)
I mean, it's pink siifu, at this point i should just expect greatness.
This is perfection, it's great, i bow down to you lord siifu.
"And to him I say, we are not equal, and under your rule we will never be."
Pink siifu has quickly become one of my favorite artists. He's bold, funny, and knows how to make a killer track. He doesn't hold back at all, always giving 100% of his energy into it. He puts personality and heart into all of his songs, and it shows vividly on "NEGRO". This is an angry album. A very, VERY angry album. He doesn't hold back his rage on this at all, sometimes screaming his head off ... read more
this is so awesome wow
there's not that much to say... it's just banger after banger. It's so fun and it's funny as fuck too. pink siifu and benjy bring a lot of charm and talent to this, and the features range from decent to amazing. yeah the mixing can be weird sometimes, but tbh i don't care that much, it's the vibes that really make this feel whole.
Well... this was a surprise.
Yeah this probably one of the best art pop records I've ever heard. I don't have a crazy amount of thoughts about it though, it's just really fucking good. It's the embodiment of patience and grace. It takes time building lush landscapes and gorgeous melodies that take the listener on a journey like no other. Like walking though a blissful field with no worries at all, just you and your thoughts, strolling in peace. That doesn't even mention Moses and his voice. ... read more
A very underrated shoegaze album with a lot of heart.
So, I usually judge if I really wanna listen to an album by its cover. I know that's weird, but if it has an ass cover I'm not gonna listen to it. When I stumbled upon this album and saw its cover I knew I wanted to listen to it. It's just so... interesting? To me it looks like a bunch of popped balloons falling out of the sky, slowly making their descent back to earth. It makes sense that this is the cover, cuz to me the sound is pretty ... read more
I mean... it fucking bangs!
So when I first heard about this collab i was a bit skeptical. Ken carson and his brand of rap are light years away from 070 shake and her style of rap. Like mixing oil and water. Surprisingly however, they came together and made a track that compliments both of their styles amazingly. 070 takes the wheel at first with her incredible vocals, and they really add a lot to it. After that intro tho it just gets fucking wild. Her voice is so distorted over the beat that ... read more
What does it mean to be truly alone? To be forgotten? To be cast aside? When no one can save you from yourself, and all you have left are these feelings, what can you possibly do to fight them? A lot of the time people seek out answers to questions that have none, and it drives them crazy. Dwelling on these thoughts is all you can possibly do at any given time, because if you don't think about them you're just not putting enough effort in, some would argue. If you don't devote your time into ... read more
definitely their loudest, most chantiest, most explosive album yet. it's also their easiest one to digest. that doesn't make it worse tho, in fact i think it adds to it, cuz now i can appreciate more of what their giving me without the complexion of their last records. it's fun, vibrant, and a welcome addition to their amazing discography.
isn't it crazy that she had to invent birds, couches, dresses, stairs, AND spooky red doorways for this album??? a true visionary.
the resurgence of shoegaze over the past couple years is so interesting to me, because the people who started getting popular off of it weren't vets of the genre or anything, it was newcomers like quannnic. it's so amazing to see that even after a genre can be dormant from the public eye for so long, people like quannnic can come around and turn it around. great album.
these guys are slowly becoming one of my favorite bands. they're the kings of making me go: "what the fuck was that? ok im gonna re-listen cuz i have no fucking clue what that was. oh i get it now, cool." (this experience has happened around 20 times so far)
they just be in the studio crafting new genres and shi, nothing too complicated
i don't know how to explain this record, genuinely. like it's just something I cant really put into words. the sounds is so disoriented, yet catchy, and it has enough grooves to make it worth a listen.
this is just really cute and catchy, while also having noisy elements that keep me engaged. this is definitely his best work. (also i really like the cover)
i love the name of this so much for some reason. like i dont even know why its just such a satisfying title, y'know?
