Feels like I’m listening to pure muck. Pure flavorless mush. Like, there are some nice moments here and there, but for a majority of this album’s run time it feels like I’m drowning in boring noise.

Shoegaze is a genre I enjoy a lot, but this has to be the worst version of it. It quite literally, feels like nothing.

It took a bit to get used to nick’s voice, but when it clicked, it REALLY clicked. Don’t know if I’ll love his other outings, but I can confidently say that this record is amazing. The gospel elements elevate this so much, they make “Wild God” what it is. All I have for this album is praise, it’s just so good.

Now, are there duds in the tracks? Yeah, a couple. Can some of the songs get a little bit boring at times? Totally. But even with those issues, the songs that're good here, are REALLY good.
