Seeing people’s different responses to this is making my mind melt away into goop.
Never even heard of the dude before hearing this project, and now I’m a lifelong fan. It’s just that good.
I had no expectations walking into this album, cuz I had no idea what it would deliver. Seeing the genres made me veryyyy interested though, so I knew I had to give it a spin. After a couple listens, I can confidently say that this is amazing. My favorite part of the whole thing has to be DC, he’s incredible. Doesn’t matter if he’s rapping like crazy or ... read more
Too long for its own good, by the end it’s stained under the weight of all those tracks, but nonetheless still packs a great punch. Even with the filler stuff, there’s enough here to still make this album worth a listen. If this is really how they go out, I say it’s on a pretty good note.
the start and end are awesome, middle ranges from pretty ok to indie slop. this record is so interesting to me, cuz on paper it should be a smash hit. but in reality, what holds this back from being that smash hit, is the band itself. especially the singer, who has basically no personality at all. still, when the tunes are good, they’re good.
the music is awesome, but god damnit dude, Peggy is becoming more and more insufferable by the day π
bipolar ass mf
Banger after banger, a shame that this is their only good album π
They really had something here, don’t know what the hell happened after π
honestly, one of the best rap albums of all time. just based off how purely good this is, I’m confident in saying that.
this is a one of a kind project if I’m being real, nothing that i’ve ever heard sounds like this. anything that sounds similar, unsurprisingly, is usual produced by cities aviv himself. that’s how talented he is.
truly, a masterpiece.
Time and time again, I’ll say the obvious.
Pink siifu is one of the best rappers of our generation, no mistake.
I might have the minority opinion when it comes to this, but I think this is his best project by far.
Sure, with super-slave you could see the potential and talent bubbling just beneath the surface, but this is him fully realizing what he can do. Amazing lyrics, incredible production, and hard hitting flows. I get the perspective of not being as impressed by this, but I say give it a few days or weeks, and you’ll get what I mean.
I like the version on SoundCloud better tbh, the ending just hits so much harder. But at the end of the day, all it’s doing is making a perfect song even more perfect.
Blessing my ears this early into the new year, thank you my dear skeletrix πππ
This is like after the magic, but the mixing is 10x worse. Don’t get me wrong, this album is still good, buts it’s more in line with his first album. Sometimes the drums are so blown out it makes a song kinda hard to get into, or the vocals are drowned out by comparison. Most of the songs suffer from varying degrees of this, but they’re still not bad at all. It’s just a bit too much at times. Still, this album is very good, and worth a listen.
