Billy Joel is a prime example of why piano rock is so good.
This was SUCH a fun listen. I can't believe I've been putting this off for so long. A young Billy Joel had so much to offer and it shows. I absolutely love the sounds. It makes me want to dance and vibe like there's no tomorrow. Songs like "Movin' out", 'The Stranger' and 'Vienna' were such amusing tracks this album is so amazing. It feels like 'The New Sound' if it were set ... read more
Wish I was Japanese fr. Or had a Japanese copy of Graduation. This song is peak
Jit really got the thousand yard stare out here 😭
Niall Horan's debut solo LP was better than expected to say the least. It has a lot of popular tracks from him like 'This Town', 'Slow Hands' and 'Too Much To Ask', which in my opinion are all amazing and they're popular for a reason. In fact, the reason I'm reviewing this one right now is because my mum loved 'Slow Hands', and so did I.
Some highlights I would like to discuss are the ... read more
this sounds like if a weeb taylor swift heard one eminem song back in 2005 and decided she'd try be the same but with some of the most annoying, cringe and racist lines over friday night funkin' beats
"You don't like this? Go fuck yourself" Guess I'm getting my ass obliterated tonight
Ronnie Radke is what came of Tom MacDonald, MGK and Adam Calhoun's masturbation sessions. Seriously, his voice sounds so much like Tom's it almost sounds like a clone. His attempts at fast flows piss me off so much, it's like he heard 'Rap God' and was like, "I can do this, so I'm gonna release the shittiest mixtape of all time, only further adding to how ... read more
----------------------------------------100 FOLLOWERS!!! WOOHOO----------------------------------------
100 followers is something that I would have dreamed of when I started this account last year. What started as me rating a bunch of rap projects has seen me expand into so much. Thanks to this community, the world of music has been opened to me. I've listened to a lot, from rap, to rock, to rnb, to indie, and soon it'll be much more. I still remember when I got my first 20 ... read more
This is so perfect... I don't even know what to say about this song. Everything just clicks with each other. An instrumental that makes you feel so much, with Thom's basic yet beautiful vocals... holy shit
Amazing song with so much substance, Extremely personal and provokes emotion. Brilliant display from Ye
What is it with pop singers being extremely horny?
Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" is a very hit-or-miss album for me. What it shines in has an equal negative. For example, the fun vibes of 'Juno' and its mildly suggestive lyrics is way better than 'Bed Chem', which had me making a weird face throughout. The nice feeling I get when I listen to 'Taste' goes away when I listen to 'Please Please Please' because of the second verse ... read more
... What?
What is this meant to be? Seriously, what have I just listened to? It's so confusing, like it just feels like the band recorded 10 instrumentals then slapped writing that took like 3 minutes to write. What the fuck is going on in this album? The auto tune is straight ass, the lyricism is straight ass, and the instrumentals are decent at best. How does Julian Casablancas go from 'Is This It' to this pile of shit? Some of these songs feel like instrumentals to my next ... read more
My all time favourite song from Billie. While it may not be her greatest from a musical perspective, it is my absolute favourite Billie song largely due to how it makes me feel, I feel at peace when listening to this, and I also feel better after a listen to this.
This is a song that fell very short of my expectations given its foreword. I understand and appreciate the empathy you feel for the victims but this wasn't the way to go. Just comes off as a weird emo track and it really doesn't stick with me. RIP X and RIP to the shooting victims but this just, no..
What can I say about this album that hasn't been said? It's one of the best albums of this decade so far, and definitely the best in his discography. While it is 20 tracks, it is all killer and almost no filler. From its incredible, raw production to its track layout to how the songs are structures to JPEG's stellar rapping abilities, it is truly one of the best albums you'll hear at some point. Like I said in my 'Lay Down My Life' review, what are you doing if ... read more
A charmful album indeed
Clairo's "Charm" is a fun listen, something I could fall asleep to or just listen to while I'm doing my own thing. 'Juna' stands out to me because it sounds so blissful and amazing for the ears. Clairo's instrumental work is stellar on here, and I look forward to hearing more of her songs.
Look I know I gave this a 70-something on the album but the school decided to have THIS as the bell for two weeks and it was annoying as shit. I'm not giving it a low score for this reason though, I'm giving it this because I genuinely think that Chappell Roan is one of the most glazed artists so far the past year or so. Midwest Princess has a user star which baffles me because this song (and the album for that matter) are so fucking glazed and I just don't see the hype. Annoying ... read more
(44 -> 75): Nevermind. This song is fun and catchy, it does what it needs to. While I wish the first chorus was a bit more connected with the rest of the song, it's still a fun one.
(original review): This song had SO much potential, but it just strikes me as... extremely weird. The chorus is strange asf, and in general the song feels out of place as if each part is not the same song. I love Bruno on here, and Rose was pretty weak on here, but in general the song is really messy with a ... read more
Tyler is back with another creation.
Tyler, The Creator switches everything up with his new album 'CHROMAKOPIA'. This is an album that explores his personal life, especially with songs like 'Noid' and 'Darling, I'. This is a massive switch-up from his last album 'CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST', where he flaunted his riches, such as a boat, interestingly. This album is definitely interesting, but it creates something that might be near perfection. Its diverse ... read more
