A decent start to a fantastic pop punk career. You can tell and hear they are still trying to find their sound.
OFFLINE! is my favorite Peggy project, and there's a reason for it. More chaotic, more productive, more cohesive, and the original version of the vision JPEGMAFIA had. A very strong project and arguably his best. Its heavily impressive how he does everything himslf.
After Alfredo, expectations were obviously high, and I think Freddie delivered very well with trap infused production. Great album
The Second Installment to the official "HEELS HAVE EYES" series. This is a more cohesive and longer project compared to the first. The Production and Sample flips/loops are Much better and consistent, typical and expected Westside Gunn performance, always delivering consistently, and some of his best songs in the Trilogy. Westside Gunn always continues to prove himself as a master curator and visionary artist. "HEELS HAVE EYES 2" is subjectively the best in the series, as it ... read more
Its probably his weakest project, as its more all over the place and less cohesive than his later projects. Still a really great start to a career.
Westside Gunn Is a great curator for Mixtapes, and HWH2 says it all. 9 songs. 23 minutes. Just hits you in the face with aggressive chops and samples.
The Album that got me HOOKED on JID. JID has already proven he would be the next big thing with "The Never Story" and with "DiCaprio 2" he did not hold back on his lyrical skills and talent. "DiCaprio 2" almost feels like a mixtape due to its narration and production by Dj Drama, and it's kind of lofi aesthetic, but it's also such an enjoyable album. "Workin Out" being one of my personal favorites, "151 Rum" being my most played song ... read more
Westsides Best Album. This is arguably better than the Side A. I love how WSG continues to put out consistent and quality albums and Mixtapes. Production is more varied on here and overall more enjoyable than Side A (Sincerely Adolf) which is no small feat considering the 20 tracks and 63 minute run on the B Side. "Hell On Earth" is my favorite song off this album and "Survivor Series 95" whilst being the longest track here, it's also one of my favorites. If you are ... read more
This is a really enjoyable album by The Griselda Rapping Machine. Trap beats to old school boom bap hits hard. Really enjoyable album from La Máquina!
A Classic Underground masterpiece. One of the best albums in his discography, Although the Production will throw many people off on the first listen. It's a DIY lo-fi Production Quality, as Daniel (MF DOOM) didn't have the greatest and best equipment to record this album. Remember, Daniel prior to this "MF DOOM" Persona list his brother, increasing his sadness and loss of hope for music, until he found the mask. DOOM reallt showcases raw energy and talent with FANTASTIC ... read more
Love this album. It is arguably just as cohesive as "After Hours" and "Hurry Up Tomorrow". If you call this the best out of the trilogy, I honestly won't call you crazy. Amazing synth heavy album.
This is without a doubt one of the best albums of the decade. Its strong production and concept, and esthetics are incredible. "Faith" Being one of the best songs off this album, and the title track "After Hours" is my personal favorite. The Strongest part of this album is definitely the Production. The works of Mike Dean, along with Metro Boomin's contribution on "Heartless", this synth heavy 80's influenced album's strongest part as well could be ... read more
Love this EP. A sad and incredible heartbreak story. I definitely think this EP is underrated in his Discography, with one of his largest songs taking over the other tracks. "Hurt You" is my personal favorite. The Weeknd has stated this is one of his personal favorites.
Incredible and final installment for "Trilogy". This is definitely one of the strongest projects in Abel's discography. "D.D." and "XO/The Host" along with "Montreal" Being highlights. XOTWOD 🖤🖤
