Soulful Production from The Alchemist. Solid rapping from Larry June and 2 Chainz. Great album
Balloonerism is the Lost Project that Got me Into Mac This year. Fully immersed in the Jazzy Soulful Production, the Deep, and Introspective lyrics. This and "Faces" being created around the same time is insane to me because of how much quality are on both projects. "Dj's Chord Organ With SZA" Is my most played song. the strongest songs on this album is definitely "5 Dollar Pony Rides", "Friendly Hallucinations", "Do You Have a ... read more
Complex, and Game Changing Production. Will there ever be an album like this? I doubt it. But it isn't impossible, just very difficult to pull off.
Aboslute Perfection in every way. Prince is definitely one of the greatest to do it.
One of my favorite albums of all time. Pink Floyd's Psychedelic production is so perfect on this record. Everything just fits well.
A fun, and short West Coast album. Kendrick is paying respect and homage to his hometown of Compton. Great album especially in his catalog. I do consider it having some of his weakest songs ("gnx" title track) but Its a short and cohesive Victory lap album. Fun and Short.
Is there really anything to say? This could be considered one of the best albums of all time. Production, Themes, and Lyrics, along with Musical Arrangements. All Perfect. One of the greatest works in music. Pink Floyd's Magnum Opus for sure.
Perfect album. Tyler Really reinvented himself after numerous attempts to finally get the respect he deserves and always wanted
Kendrick Lamar's most personal project to date. Its production and personal themes along with consistent track run makes this album one of the strongest of the 2020's so far.
MF DOOM's last album under his name. The Supervillain delivers some of his best performances on the mic on this album. RIP 🕊
MF DOOM is one of those rappers that will forever be timeless. RIP the Supervillain
One of Westside Gunn's Strongest Albums. Definitely worth a listen. Its production is not rich, but also gritty. I also enjoy the consistent listen and consistency for each track as well. Clocking in at 36 minutes with 12 tracks,(or 13 tracks at 40 minutes on other platforms) its always a very nice breeze each time. The Sequel "And Then You Pray For Me" however, is more difficult to listen to, because of how many tracks there are and its a 75 minute album. "Pray For ... read more
This is a great project start to finish. However, this is probably one of the weakest HWH mixtapes in the series. Still great quality.
