Some very good leftovers of "To Pimp a Butterfly". Kendrick Lamar has proven to have one of the most consistent discographies in hip hop.
the final Megadeth album, and it's a decent send off to their amazing 40 long year career. Hey, at the end of the day, even though they didn't finish strong, Megadeth has had an undeniable impactful career. Metal wouldn't and won't be the same without Megadeth. Megadeth forever! 🤘🤘
J Cole. The Off Season. There are many good things to say about this album, as his pen hasn't failed him and I don't think it ever will.
Now into January 28, 2026 (His 41st birthday) this album is still holding strong. It's concise and relatively short track list gives it a fun listen every time and Cole definitely went for that.
J. Cole is one of the greatest of our generation and will continue to be so until his retirement.
We're ready for The Fall Off Jermaine. 2.6.26. Be ... read more
Denzel Curry released one of the best albums of the 2010's and there is a reason why he is so respected and admired. Taboo (stylized TA1300) is one of the strongest albums in his discography and of the 2010's. It's dark themes and production perfectly marry Denzel's pen in this album, with many styles implemented in this project. Denzel has proven his status in hip hop and will continue to do so.
First Major Rap album of 2026 and it did NOT disappoint. Rocky delivered with an experience very similar to "TESTING" but with a more consistent listen. Definitely will grow HEAVY on people very quickly. I can see it.
Travis Scott had an amazing debut with "Rodeo" and unfortunately his sophomore album "Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight" didn't surpass it. This album is very divisive with critics and fans alike, because it isn't consistent as "Rodeo" or Future albums like "ASTROWORLD" or "UTOPIA", which is understandable. "beibs in the trap" being an example. It isn't his best song, and Nav doesn't sound good on it either, ... read more
"UTOPIA". boy where do I start? one of the most hyped albums of the decade, and Travis delivered as always. Many Travis fans put this as the Mt. Everest of his catalog, being his best album, but I think otherwise. It's definitely up there, but there are flaws. Kanye West (or Ye) being one of the executive producers, The Alchemist help producing "LOST FOREVER". with Many producers on it. Kanye, producing tracks like "GOD'S COUNTRY", "THANK GOD", ... read more
Rodeo, a Trap Classic by Travis Scott. Who would've knew this would be one of the best albums of the 2010's and 2015? and that's no small feat as This album released the same year as many other fantastic albums such as "To Pimp a Butterfly" by Kendrick Lamar, "AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP". By A$AP Rocky, "DS2" By Future, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" by Drake, and "GO:OD AM" by Mac Miller. "Rodeo" delivers some ... read more
Travis Scott's follow up to "Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight". "ASTROWORLD" was one of the biggest releases of 2018, and when it released, it stated why. it's production really makes you feel like you're inside of a theme park. It's psyhedelic production done by the works of Kevin Parker of Tame Impala for "SKELETONS", and Travis' skills as a producer for "R.I.P. SCREW" and Hit boy's production on "SICKO MODE". This ... read more
Late Registration is probably the best off the College trilogy. Kanye upped the production by a small margin, but it's noticeable. The sample flips are more cohesive and interesting compared to "The College Dropout". "Late Registration" also has some of his best and arguably most popular songs. "Hey Mama" being one of my personal favorites, and one of Kanye's most personal songs, "Gold Digger" being one of the most popular off the album, ... read more
The tenth and final Installment to the legendary "Hitler Wears Hermes" Series. Fantastic end with some outstanding features, and consistent tracks. However does have some questionable picks, but regardless, Westside Gunn has proven to be one of the best curators in Hip Hop.
An essential east coast hip hop album with some of the nastiest and most iconic beats in hip hop history. Unmatched.
"Fly God Is An Awesome God 2" is a sequel to "Fly God Is An Awesome God", while also being an enjoyable Mixtape as well. Though not as better as the first, "FGIAAG 2" really shows Gunn's curating skills as a producer and artist, having "Michael Irvin" be sampled by Tyler, The Creator (SIR BAULDELAIRE With DJ Drama) showing his immense Influence on rappers today. Tyler praising Westside Gunn and Griselda for keeping the Traditional sound of Hip Hop ... read more
Metallica's biggest and possibly most influential album they have ever made. "Metallica" or "The Black Album" is a more simplified and better produced album in their discography, being produced by Bob Rock and the Band members. Being one of their biggest albums (having sold 31 Million copies worlwide and 20 million in the US alone, making it one of the biggest selling albums of all time) This album directly shows how Mainstream Metallica is, and how their sound has ... read more
Godspeed You Black Emporer's Album "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven" is without a doubt one of the greatest albums of all time. It's very long, but fantastically enjoyable tracks just puts you in a trance. Immersing you into the atmospheric and epic instruments, orchestrated carefully to be the fullest it can be, while simultaneously adding an analog texture to make it sound unique, and beautiful. It's such a shame this was taken off of many Streaming ... read more
Kanye West has once proven he is one of the greatest and most influential artist/rapper in Hip Hop history, and this album says it all. Kanye heavily embraced and welcomed auto tune with open arms, revolutionizing it, and for a good reason. Michael Jackson told Kanye how much he enjoys his singing voice, which helped Kanye in shaping this album. However, this album doesn't have a happy backstory, as the main inspiration for this amazing and emotional album has to do with the death of his ... read more
"VULTURES 2" is the Sequel to "VULTURES 1" and second installment to "VULTURES" by Kanye West (Ye) and Ty Dolla $ign. I don't know what they were thinking releasing this album, and I'm disappointed it even came out the way it did. When it first released, The mixing was AWFUL, you were barely able to hear any of the vocals because of how bad it was, and the production is even more repetitive and forgettable compared to the first. How does this stoop even ... read more
a collab album with Kanye West (Ye) and Ty Dolla $ign. I did not enjoy this album when it came out nearly 2 years ago, and it's easy to see why. The Production feels like it's unfinished and was not treated correctly, the vocal mixing is AWFUL (Ye's vocals feel WAY too compressed and low) and the features are predictable and forgettable at the same time. However, it did have SOME highlights, "CARNVAL" being one of them (Being the largest song off this album), and ... read more
The first installment to the "HEELS HAVE EYES" Series. I did enjoy this project, but it is very short (as expected because it's labeled and distributed as an EP) and straight to the point. I do think this is the weakest off the series, and "HEELS HAVE EYES 2" and "HEELS HAVE EYES 3" are the more cohesive and arguably better listens.
