Smino - Luv 4 Rent
NR

Love the whole aesthetic on this. Smino's voice is really refreshing

feeble little horse - Girl with Fish
NR

Short, sweet infectious fuzziness. The walls of guitar mixed with soft vocals works so well and I love how weird it gets at times.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
NR

Reclaimed my virginity with this one

Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert
NR

Maybe the greatest flowing album I've ever heard. If I skip Rollin Stone, this is a perfect album.

Jane Remover - Census Designated
NR

The highs on here are some of my favourite songs ever. Lips, Backseat girl and Census Designated are all masterpieces. I wish I loved the rest as much but I know it'll grow on me.

Dev Lemons - Why Did I Laugh Anyway
NR

Best Dev song. Quadeca production brings out the best in everyone

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale
NR

This might be the most Tyler album actually. I feel like he's really mastered cultivating an aesthetic on here. Every piece of production, every verse, every DJ Drama adlib, every interlude. It really makes you FEEL like you're on the yacht in Geneva with your toes out.

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
NR

I cannot imagine how amazing this must've felt for Tyler fans at the time. Still just as good revisiting it.

I don't think it quite reaches the emotional highs of the highly conceptual IDMTHY, but the mixtape format works so well for more unique one-and-done ideas that Quad wants to experiment with. I think it's just as ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
NR

A masterpiece in every conceivable way. It's almost impossible to just play one song without queueing up the whole album. A hundred listens in, almost a decade later... I'm still finding new things to latch onto with each listen. I'm still getting chills at the end of mortal man. Worth every bit of hype it receives.

underscores - Wallsocket
95

Infectious zoomerpop. From the euphoric campy bangers to the slower, stripped back emotional tracks, Wallsocket is an hour of near flawlessly produced genrebending pop. My only nitpicks are how some of the vocals and digital effects can be a little grating sometimes, like at the endings of Shoot to kill and Good luck final girl.
