Pretty cool jams, it lulls a bit at some points but for the most part it's a very enjoyable collection of songs that make you wanna move
There's some music where you can't help but think about how talented and creative the people who made it are, this is a perfect example. There isn't a single missed idea, every new way the album goes is executed perfectly while always feeling dynamic and like it's progressing instead of rehashing what it's already done in other sections. It's 35 minutes of brilliance
You can kill me for this one but... is it all that? Don't get me wrong, it's a very good album, André 3000 can't rap a bad verse and has a very unique and recognizable delivery and Big Boi also holds up his own and delivers on every song. But I don't think it has enough memorable moments for me to consider it a generational masterpiece. This is beautifully proggy and jammy, it keeps you on your toes and has beautiful instrumental runs. The features also all fit this perfectly.
Okay so I know I'm about to rate this higher than I rated Wallsocket, but I liked Wallsocket more because it was more diverse and had a cool concept, I just haven't had a chance to fairly update that rating. Regardless tho, underscores is the shit, this is such a danceable and fun album, it's filled with confidence and a provocative personality, it wins you over with ease
