Good alt R&B album. The vocals are the highlight for me personally. Though it feels very same-y and not interesting enough sometimes unfortunately. Though I'd say it's still decent.
Peggy makes his weakest album to date. The worst part on the album has to be the rapping itself, it's the same recycled flow on all songs that feels gimmicky and uninteresting. And with such a fast cadence, he quickly runs out of things to say quite often. The production ranged from mid to great. But, Peggy tries to experiment with new sounds, and it all comes out to be quite tacky. There are some highlights though, but most don't feel special enough to make the album score any higher.
This is a very unique album. The guitar strumming is always there throughout the entire project, yet it's never boring. The singing feels unorthodox at times and makes it very interesting. Yet, the vocal harmonies prevalent in the track list make it feel warmer. Though sometimes it feels like it's trying to overachieve for what it is.
