Same concept as their debut with various more genres, they nailed it and it's way more interesting than their debut.
A genre-blending debut by glass beach, it's an interesting concept but the result is pretty ok. The instrumentation is one of the standout of this album, it sounds rich, multi genres that can sometimes make the album feel disjointed. Also, some tracks feel messy. This could grow on me, but for now I think this album is pretty good at best.

A non stop beauty from top to bottom. This album has everything, and just like Anthony Fantano said in his review of this album "This album doesn’t drag on at all." This is an amazing record, truly one of the best of this decade.
This is better than U.F.O.F. because you can really feel the rawness of this album that makes it great. Vocals incredible as usual, the important thing is this album delivers great sounding mix of folk and rock, the guitars, drums, and bass blend seamlessly, creating a rich, layered sound.
This album is rich in emotions but lacks variety in sound and dynamic range. I don't expect them to become an experimental folk band, but this album just sounds like those indie folk cliches. However, this is still a good record. Adrianne Lenker's vocal delivery is pretty, and the lyrics are poetic, making this album feel intimate and emotional.
Compare to their debut, this album showcases a greater sense of maturity and confidence in both songwriting and performance. It has more high moments, diverse instrumentation, great vocals (as usual), the delivery is pretty much on point with minor flaws. Overall, this album is more enjoyable than their debut.
Yeah, this is impeccable from start to finish. One of the best live albums I've ever heard fr. Also, Blood Promise? 15 minutes? INCREDIBLE!
Well, it's not a masterpiece.
This album truly embodies an authentic sound experience. Each instrument really adds the atmosphere of the album, creating a dynamic sonic palette that evolves with each track. Poignant lyrics with Adrianne Lenker's vocal performance at the front are matched by her emotive and unfiltered vocal delivery, ugh, it's gorgeous and really add emotional depth to the album. One thing tho, I don't really like some of the tracks in this because they don't show the elements ... read more
I'm scared.
This experimental production showcases an audacious utilization of sampled elements, seamlessly integrated into each composition, incredible beats, complemented by whimsical and funny lyrical content. Although I don't understand some of the references in the lyrics, but that's fine. One thing about this album that could be better is the mixing. It's not terrible, but for me, it sounds like it's spreading in my ear uncontrollably.

So close to perfection for me. It's bold, it's powerful, and it's unlike anything else out there.
Yes, I'm late talking about this.
My dramatic expression when this popped up in my notification while I was listening to Drake's track. I just clicked the notification so fast that I haven't finished listening to Drake's yet. I did that because I think Drake's track is not really direct. I mean, it's direct, he targets everybody in that song, but it does not really hit.
So, I listened to Kendrick's, I feel like I'm in Drake's position at that time, I feel like I'm the one taking the hit, even ... read more
Same Peggy, same.
A fresh and exciting work of art by Peggy. A blend of elements of rap, experimental hip-hop, and electronic music also filled with humour and clever lyrics. I enjoy this a lot, very fun, funny but it's also very serious, overall, this is an amazing record.
An authentic work by Peggy.
I really like the experimentation that Peggy did in this album, it really hooked me from start to finish. The on point use of samples, glitchy sounds, old-school hip-hop sounds, etc etc with thought-provoking lyrics while sprinkling in a healthy dose of humor and wit at the front, it's really good. One thing tho, It's a bit messy, but that's not much of a weakness for me (maybe a bit).
A greatness with a filler.
After their high-quality, amazing "Knocknarea", one thing I can say about this EP is that it didn't hit me as hard as their previous EP but is still a great and interesting work. They still deliver a tasteful piece of work; the drums hit hard, the guitar playing is subtle but nothing too special, the bass sounds fit so well, and the saxophones are ear-blessing.
My opinion on this album is still the same, even after revisiting it a couple of times. I'm still trying to find the fun and enjoyment in this album. I really want to like it so bad, but what I found was that almost half of this album does not really work for me, in the harsh way, it's boring. It has some good tracks, but I don't think I'll revisit them if I want to play JPEGMAFIA's music.
Started off strong with heavy bass with (slightly) hard-hitting snare drums, fuzzy guitars, and rock vocals (idk how to describe it) sets the tone of this album. After a couple of tracks with those sounds, a clean guitar with delay fx on and maybe a chorus fx too, and also a simple drum pattern that is very much britpop-sounding. And at that moment, I understood why this album was labeled Britpop, because it really is a Britpop album.
This album has some great tunes, but it also has some dull ... read more
I really love how they crafted those layers of sounds and blended them perfectly after I hit play. It doesn't just make the music sound wider, but each of them brings out the atmosphere way more stronger. After that, the album goes on to deliver way more classic, straightforward indie rock pattern music with shoegaze atmosphere all over it with dreamy and stunning vocals. This is a really fun-sounding album that has some interesting stuff in it.
17 years after "The Shape of Punk to Come," the album that set the standard so high, and with this release, they can't even reach the level of that album. This album lacked the same groundbreaking impact as its predecessor, zero innovation, and lack of interesting sound. It's got a way more straightforward rock sound, and it sounded like any other hardcore band I've heard before.
