What a great album! The opening track really sets the tone perfectly with its blistering pace and anthemic chorus. Lyrical content filled with heavy topics sung with anger, classic punk way to show your dedication to delivering the message. And of course, the music is heavy too, with raw, ferocious energy, furious riffs, and pounding drums.

This album sounds like any other basic hardcore album I've heard from this era.
Chelsea Wolfe's with delicate vocals and dark, melancholy atmospheres, combined with Converge's furious, chaotic hardcore sound, so the best way for me to describe this album is hauntingly beautiful or haunting and beautiful? idk. However, there are moments in this album that I find really not that interesting and feel a bit disjointed. Still, it's a good album with some great tunes.
Another great album by Converge, features more experimental and ambient moments mixed with Converge's trademark aggressive hardcore punk and metal components.
I thought I would get bored listening to Converge's music, but no, they consistently still impressed me on this another amazing album. They really are the master of this type of music.
With its unrelenting use of instrumentation, thought-provoking lyrics, and impeccable production quality, the album solidifies Converge's place among the genre's most significant acts. Every song in this goes so fucking hard from start to finish. Really amazing album.
Just like any of their records, this record is filled with intense aggression and raw emotion; it's abrasive and chaotic. Characterized by intense vocals from the lead singer, discordant guitar riffs, and fast-paced drumming. As I said before, all of their records are chaotic, in this, they delivered frequent tempo changes and complex rhythms, dissonant chords, and some unpredictable composition mixed all together and they sounded so great.
The album opens with a barrage of hammering drum and scorching guitars that leave me gasping for air. Dynamic changes in tempo and intensity, coupled with intricate guitar work and fast-paced drumming, keep the listener constantly on edge. Minus, I don't know what the fuck the guy said the whole album.
Just a visceral and uncompromising listen. Powerful, heavy, intense, and everything is just abrasive with moments of unexpected beauty.
A decent project by Blur and obviously my second least favourite album in their discography. This record did not reach the heights of their classic records. There is little to no standout moment, some tracks feel a bit lackluster compared to their earlier work, and there are moments where the experimentation falls flat.
When Blur decided to take a left turn from britpop and enlarge their sonic palette, and yes, they succeeded in doing that.
When I first listened to this, I was pretty sure that this album would grow on me, but it didn't when I listened to this record again. But still, it's an album that demands attention and rewards repeated listens, earning its place as a noteworthy chapter in Blur's storied discography.
This album is very different compared to all of their records, incorporating electronic ... read more
Yes, experimental, meaning new sounds. Started with my favourite Blur song "Tender", a great, beautiful song with gospel-inspired harmonies always makes me want to sing along to this song. When I thought this song was gonna set the tone throughout the whole album, nope, they hit me with some experimental elements that were absent from all of their records before this. The addition of sounds from electronica, shoegaze, and noise music further broadens the musical palette and creates a ... read more
Now, we're talking! I expected this to be another classic Blur sound, just like their previous records, and it is. But they achieved something here, they successfully made their signature sound sound more interesting, way more attractive, and way more enjoyable. A lot of great tunes, just overall a great record.
What can I say about Blur anymore? They always use the same sounds on their records, sometimes they add some new sounds, sometimes they don't. So, the only aspects I can judge this album on are the lyrics and the vibe of the tracks.
Blur's lyrics are always consistent; everyday topics are covered with a blend of wit, satire, and earnestness. And about the vibe of this album... it's fun, it's enjoyable, that's it. The only difference between this album and the previous one is the guitar. On ... read more

What a wonderful record. Caroline Polachek and Weyes Blood? My dream is finally come true.
Another fun sounding album, an enjoyable piece. They add something that makes this album more colourful such as adding some new instruments that are not present in previous albums, dynamics throughout the album, and not sounding too generic resulting in an interesting work to listen to.
A very fun album sound-wise, not something I listen to everyday but it's pretty good. The downside of this album in my opinion is that it uses clichéd rock elements, elements that have been made thousands of times before this album existed, making this album a little boring in some tracks, and the tracks you listen to in this almost sound identical to the track before and after.
