Not my type of jazz but still good. The minimalist elements on this album match her vocals greatly.
This is not good... for my mental health. Deathconsciousness is more than enough to break me, and then I decided to listen to this... This album is not an easy listen, but it's so powerful.
A departure from their previous bubblegum pop sound, incorporating elements of noise. The result is a chaotic and unpredictable mix of catchy melodies, distorted guitars and existential lyrics. This album is a celebration of life, all its complexity and delight, mixed with a dash of whimsy and comedy.
Catchy hooks, eerie synths, and distorted guitars. A dark atmosphere and powerful and emotive vocal, conveying both pain and pleasure in her confessional lyrics.
If the previous album is quite uplifting and ambitious, this album is way more melancholy and a great album to listen to on a rainy day or when you're lying down staring at the ceiling in your room alone.
It starts off with a strong album introduction, gently, with a delicate guitar melody and a marching snare that brings a gradual increase in intensity. And it ends with a cathartic release of emotion.
This record is just like any post-rock record I've heard before, but it surprises me that it didn't bore me at all. I mean, this record has every post-rock cliche element to it, but this is really an enjoyable record.
So kawai, so sweet, I had a smile on my face when I listened to this album (a rare thing).
Blend of various music styles, heartfelt performances, exceptional talent, great production. Rich arrangements and diverse sonic palette with her beautiful vocal dances between highs and lows and through her lyrics, she shares her innermost thoughts and feelings. What an album.
This is surprisingly good. The first thing I thought before I listened to this was, "oh... another self produced lo-fi-noisy record, I bet it's poorly produced." And, yes I was wrong, it's not "poorly," but it's pretty good with the unpolished DIY recording, and that makes this record feel honest and genuine. Dreamy, immersive, each track is crafted with precision to evoke specific feelings or atmospheres. Overall, this is an interesting piece of work and a great debut by ... read more
What a record. A post-rock record with emo elements or an emo record with post-rock elements? Idk, but it's fucking amazing. Delicate guitar playing makes me want to pick up my guitar again, and the drumming is mental and wild. In some of the tracks, they also added orchestral instruments such as horns, and you can also hear percussions in the background. And the vocals... anger, desperate, and it feels so cathartic.
Melancholic melodies and immersive soundscapes, this album creates a dark atmosphere. An evocative, provoking and inspiring listening experience.
In this record, the man/the genius behind all of my favourite records from GY!BE and Silver Mt. Zion manages to create an intense atmosphere and deliver a work that is rich in nuance and depth. It has complex and dynamic sounds. The album's only weaknesses lie in a few tracks, they're just quite uninspiring for me.
I just listened to an angel singing.
This is so beautiful, calming, atmospheric, ethereal, dreamy, and otherworldly.
An album that sounds fun in the first half and fades in the second half (at least musically, it sounds fun, don't know the lyrics tho). This is a pretty good debut by a Chilean band. It has some interesting sounds, but some of them sounded like indie rock songs I had heard but forgotten, and those tracks reminded me of those sounds.
An emotionally evocative album and an impressive piece of work. This record is not only entertaining, but it also presents a profound experience that stimulates the mind.
I need the new album, ma'am.

Brutal, intense, this is such a great debut. Also, what's his problem with the purple man? Why doesn't he want him in his room? Oh, the purple man hurt him in a past life.
