Between this, the blueprint, and The Glow Pt. 2, it must've been a great day
So yesterday I got a bit curious about what albums came out on the day of the tragedy, so much so that I almost made a list about it. If you're wondering why that list doesn't exist, look at what lists this album is on, and you can tell why. Anyway, this was one of those albums, and it interested me the most out of any of the albums I discovered.

Smile is a pretty big change in style for Porter. He began his career as an electronic artist and continued down that path until the roll out for this album, which is much more pop oriented than before. Of course, there are still electronic elements, but it still leans heavily into pop territory, and in terms of that it's pretty solid. I found the sound to be just alright upon first listen, but I liked it much more when I revisited the album to jog my memory for this review. ... read more

Vultures 2 is the very long awaited sequel to Vultures 1, and the second part of a trilogy that was supposed to end four months ago. Vultures 1 is definitely going to be the most decisive album of the year. Each side has faur reasons to feel the way they do, but this project in particular brings out the worst in people. The most annoying people on the internet still use it to harass others for disagreeing with them, which is something I was worried ... read more
This is the highest score I'll probably ever give Acidgvrl
I mean the way I be hating on everything to do with her I would consider this to be an extremely positive score. Acidgvrl in my eyes is one of the most consistently terrible artists of today. I think the highest score I've given her was a five, and that was just a single. The highest I've given her in terms of full length projects is a one because on of the beats went ever so slightly hard for nine seconds. I kind of ... read more

I know everyone's highlight of the day is the new Porter, but I don't really care y'all are gonna have to wait. I mean I guess I was more hyped for Porter but I just felt like it would to talk about this now and that later.
So, Ice Spice pretty instantly blew up after dropping her first EP. I listened to that today right before this to kind of compare a little bit. I don’t feel like writing an individual review for Like, so I'll just state ... read more
There's not much I can say pertaining to this single that I didn't say about Torrance's previous single. Pretty much everything is great, but the vocal performance is slightly awkward. Now, it's certainly an improvement over world is mine, but it's still noticeable. That's not to discredit Torrance though. Honestly that's something I'm certain will be fixed over time, and it doesn't harm the quality of the bars or beat too much.
Rose Mulet is an artist/influencer who has recently come under fire for saying a lot of terrible things about extremely sensitive subjects(mostly SA so let this be your trigger warning if you need it). This song appears to have been written in response to the backlash. Judging by the lyrics, I assume Rose wanted to emulate something like Bad Blood or Look What You Made Me Do, but she missed the mark with that hard. Firstly, those two songs are easily Taylor's worst sounding hits, so why ... read more

I consider myself to be a fan of Hunter's work from his animations on his main channel to his commentary and banter on his second channel and podcasts, so I was really hoping I would enjoy this project more than I did. I thought this sounded like what a person who doesn't get metal hears when they listen to anything that isn't mainstream. Hunter's vocal performance was pretty good, but everything else surrounding it felt bland. Obviously, this is ... read more
Weird Al hasn't had a proper studio project for a decade now. Something he makes sure to do with every album is a polka medley where he sings the choruses of multiple hit songs of the time in black metal. The thing that sets this apart from the previous songs in this series is that Al has a wider range of songs to pull from. he missed an entire decade of pop music, which is what he attempts to cover with this medley. This song pulls everything that he missed from Shake It Off to WAP. ... read more
The Obsidian Collection is a compilation of rap battles by Eddiefrb. I've liked most of what I've hear from him so far, but I unfortunately can't say I feel the same for this collection of songs. Obviously this just comes down to personal preference, as the majority of these tracks are simply my least favorites from Eddie. Either way, If you've liked any of his songs, I would recommend this project.
