Much like S/T, Blue Rev totally didn't click immediately...or for nearly two years after I listened to it for the first time! alienating, a feeling. a scene. anything. something. when all fades, in the end, there will still be Lily Chou-Chou. whether red, or blue, or grey, or anything other.
I really want to love this, but I don't know how I feel about it to be honest. There's quite a few songs on here that I would genuinely love if it weren't for Monsieur Gambino's tendency to go full-on Spiritual Lyrical Miracle all of a sudden. Cool interludes, too.

"sadly i agree with everything said in this review. very well put. i really do hope that this album grows on me some, especially with how excited i was to hear it when it got announced. Peggy is hands down one of my favorite artists, and this feels like such a big plateau when seeing what he's done with his discography before this album. It's almost like he spent the whole time making the production and threw together the lyrics and flows just to wrap things up. Amazing review especially so shortly after release lol!"
