truly saddened that i didn't know about or listen to this album earlier. incredible work and I'm so happy for Instagram for exposing me to this record.
quite a lot better than i remembered it being. still occasionally a bit boring, but not enough to prevent this from being a very solid record.

even in the bitter cold, Masayoshi Takanaka is capable of producing the most comforting embrace of warmth. man, I miss summertime.
weird and disorienting by Daft Punk standards, which isn't always bad, but it becomes apparent how much less coordinated this is compared to Daft Punk's prior works. "Steam Machine", "Make Love", and "Television Rules the Nation" have to be some of, if not the most boring songs that Daft Punk have written. sorry to break it to you twin, but this album is buns ๐ญ BROKE BOY is catchy, tho, as well as some other beats
'Imaginal Disk' is very much the 'Discovery' of the 2020s. Neither album is necessarily "perfect", but both offer some of the most beautiful and consistently enjoyable songs, reaching the apex of their respective genres.
