The 25 year old Atlanta native released her follow up to debut “Over It” titled “Still Over It” which outlines the ups and downs that come with love following the split between her and producer London On Da Track. Summer Walker has been at the face of much adversity and harsh criticism but the split proves to be one that she has overcome.

Not much to say, record is too long and feels juvenile at times especially for one approaching his mid 30s. Could’ve easily been condensed to an excellent 12 track album but overall feels formulaic and it’s nothing we haven’t heard from before. There are highlights however but the record feels bloated and oversaturated with unnecessary features and touches on the same themes we heard from his previous project.

Pairing elements of previous works in terms of his delivery with some of his newer sound makes for the perfect recipe and his most adventurous releases and one of the best of 2021. Transitions between tracks are seamless and he’s confrontational as he addresses his past behaviors while also making note of who he is today and essentially ... read more

Lorde seems to be at her most tranquil and self assured but it doesn’t reflect in this body of work from an artist that never conformed and constantly took risks. Ultimately results in a lifeless, uninspired body of work and her least enjoyable to date.
