edit: i’ve probably listened to this project all the way through 10+ times at this point and i can’t find a single second i don’t like. this goes beyond just an achievement in post-rock—this is an achievement in music as an art form.

im happy to report i enjoyed a penelope scott album. so much more mature, the electronica works so much better than the edgy piano ballads, and there were only a couple lyrics that made me grimace! this is exactly the direction i think she should’ve gone like 3 projects ago
water dogs… is actually an alright listen. this is so much more mature it blows all her other stuff out of the water. naiad girl displays the most compelling lyrics she’s written so far and charlotte’s hymn really impressed me instrumentally. i’m so happy :D
