This is really beautiful, I'm glad shamir has found a project that blends all their best music assets into a cohesive bop collection and it's a joy to listen to. The first half of the album doesn't bang as hard as I think it wants to and some of the lyrics are also a little clunky here but I get what they're going for.

Don't get me wrong this album bangs, many many bops but it doesn't quite land what it's going for; it feels like it's trying to be Everything to everyone but at times glosses over things and it can be a bit cringe, but wow the album covers cool... luckily a lot of the songs bang hard enough to overlook some of the cringe and it can be seen as a little bit of cheesy nostalgia, was it intended that way? Who knows...

I've always really loved everything Lingua Ignota has done but I've never fully connected with everything she has done up until this album... is this because she finally stopped it back a little bit and I need simplicity? NO. I think this is her most complex work but still feels most focused and never feels over worked. There is more sound exploration where she explores these intense feelings in less tried and tested ways to such amazing results and it's such a 'joy' to listen to...

I loved this so much when I first heard it, I thought surely this isn't as good as I'm thinking it is but it turned out it was and it was even better, this has grown on my so much, it's got the biggest banger of 2020 and some of the most beautiful moments and it's so consistent and so refreshing, only good things.

This is violently fun, reviewing loads of fun pop albums today and this is one of my favourites, the first half of this album is one of the most vicious runs of bangers but the 2nd half kinda let's it down but they still aren't bad tracks, but by comparison, ya know... except the last track that one's so fun but so stupid and borderline awful

Omg some of the songs on here are insane, disco, pop, fun I just find a lot of it so vague and at times kind of pretentious but we'll meaning, it doesn't quite land what it's aiming for but it's still great for party. She really came through with what 'Release Me' promised twelve years before...
