Evanescence - Fallen
87

I loved this album from the heavy guitar to Amy lee’s vocals the listening experience was great
Fav: Bring me to life (HM: going under, tourniquet)

Weyes Blood - Titanic Risen
100

Should’ve made the album, ethereal doesn’t do it justice

Evanescence - Who Will You Follow
88

The riffs are NASTY on here, Amy’s vocals did not disappoint aswell

Al Green - Let's Stay Together
88

A great feel good soul album what’s not to love
Fav tracks: let’s stay together, old time lovin, ive never found a girl

Howard Shore - The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
92

This is so peak
From very iconic tracks to even how the score perfectly encapsulates rising tension, different scenes and makes an amazing atmosphere for the 1st film of the greatest film trilogy of all time

Madvillain - Madvillainy
87

Lowk overrated but still fire

Pink Floyd - Animals
96

This is peak, with strong parallels to animal farm but instead of criticising communism, this album critiques capitalism, which the themes covered in this album nearly 50 years ago seem even more prevalent today. Even the cover itself is a masterpiece, the Battersea power station with the pig flying above paralleling capitalism where on the outside it looks grand, and opulent but when you look closer it hides the grim lives the factory workers (sheep in the albums case) have
Fav track: sheep, ... read more

Joni Mitchell - Blue
90

Fav: Carey
Solid album

Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers [Moanin']
88

The horns on are you real ?!?! Love this album

Radiohead - In Rainbows
93

Radiohead yet again faultless, the production was class
Fav track: weird fishes/ arpeggi

SZA - Ctrl
85

It’s deceeent

Tame Impala - Currents
93

This is peak right here, the soundscape is so entrancing. Let it happen in top 10 songs of the decade

Deftones - White Pony
86

And I thought linkin park was hardcore 😭. Deftones’ 3rd album really puts the metal in nu metal, which lead the way for a listening experience that is very engaging. The distortion on the the vocals and the electric guitar creates something I’ve not heard done this way before (surprisingly) whilst it took a little getting used to and a couple restarts of the album, I ended up thoroughly enjoying it
Fav tracks: change, passenger (absolutely nasty riff on passenger and Korea)

Radiohead - OK Computer
94

The peak of the alt rock mountain, exit music let down and karma police being one after another is truly a high point of music as a whole. Form the futuristic production, to the lyrics and vocals it is great.

Fleetwood Mac - Tusk
85

Another great album from Fleetwood Mac, keeping to the soft rock genre like to rumours makes for a pleasant atmosphere and listening experience, quite long though

Laufey - A Matter of Time
83

A very nice orchestral album with some very catchy tracks while some tracks seem to merge into others, but overall a nice chilled vibe.
Plus the vinyl is amazing with feathers in the actual disc, plus a 7” single

Magdalena Bay - Nice Day: A Collection of Singles
94

Why couldn’t this be a proper album 😭

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
90

Great all round rock album from famous (maybe overplayed) riffs to some standout tracks with stupidly good production. Fav track: Black dog / stairway to heaven

J Dilla - Donuts
91

Bro cooked

Men I Trust - Oncle Jazz
83

Interesting take on jazz
But overall a very nice bedroom pop album with really chill and mellow vibes and has some of my favourite singles of theirs on here as well
Favourite: Show me how, seven
