Groove Armada - Vertigo
NR

as a playlist guy trying to be more of an album guy, I try to check out albums when I know I've been really into one track from it. the beautiful and chill At the River brought me here, and I was stoked to find lots more dancey bops and funky house mixes.

The White Stripes - Elephant
NR

might need to make room for this on my top albums. nothing makes me feel the way Ball and Biscuit makes me feel.

J Dilla - Donuts
NR

wow! honestly inspiring from a production standpoint. feel like this album is super underrated, kinda like it belongs in a music history museum for real.

Fugazi - 13 Songs
NR

Waiting Room is an iconic track. but everything on this album kicks ass.

Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 3
NR

keep the party going. Kill Your Masters is one of the best mic drop album conclusion tracks ever. love Legend Has It. these guys are legends.

Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 2
NR

Zach de la Rocha is the reason I got introduced to Run the Jewels in the first place. love this shit.

ODESZA - A Moment Apart
NR

trying to scratch the disclosure/chemical brothers itch again. pretty good.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
NR

Kendrick's in a really interesting place in his career, because he has had some incredible albums and now the expectation is that he both just keep recapturing the same vibe that made people fall in love with him while also continuing to push forward and innovate and reinvent (which is also what made people fall in love with him). and yeah, this is dope. he's still got it. he's got more in him.

Thelonious Monk - Straight, No Chaser
NR

I really believe Thelonious Monk's genius is best appreciated with the solo/piano only stuff, but that doesn't make this album any less amazing/incredible/genius/one of the best jazz albums of all time

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
NR

Rapp Snitch Knishes is honestly one of my all time favorite songs. I don't know why. Overall, I just love MF Doom. I feel like there's no one else like him out there.

Jorge Drexler - Taracá
NR

nice! appreciate the diversity of styles in here

Flume - Skin
NR

I'll be honest, I'm trying to scratch an itch that it seems only Disclosure and The Chemical Brothers is able to do for me. This is good though.

The Chemical Brothers - We Are The Night
NR

haters don't have Saturate beating in their hearts. haters don't know how to shake their body like a salmon floating up streeeeeeam

The Chemical Brothers - Push the Button
NR

woke up in the morning with Galvanize in my head and had to embrace this vibe for the rest of the day

John Hicks - Hicks Time
NR

....I'm the first to review this? Is this site dead? Does no one else like chill jazz piano? I wish I was a better music critic, this is too much pressure. I like jazz piano excellence.

Ahmad Jamal - The Awakening
NR

I LOVE MUSIC!!!!!!! I love modal jazz

Wes Montgomery - A Day in the Life
NR

very Mad Men soundtrack coded. love the beatles covers.

John Prine - John Prine
NR

pretty good! (MORE THAN THAT, LOVE!!!)

X - Wild Gift
NR

CLASSIC!!!!!!!! why is it that the highest compliment one can give a punk album is THIS IS PUNK!!! this is the real deal! might not go as hard as modern audiences expect but imagine how hard this went back in LA in 1981? EXENE IS SO COOL

Portishead - Third
NR
