very overhated and Abel’s best project imo. the vocals and pitches are insane, the drums and the classic electronic elements and beats all throughout are incredible, whilst having creative stories and very detailed and layered, it also has funky, fun party music, but also sad, calm and atmospheric music too, also having my favorite the weeknd song on sidewalks.

has a very psychedelic vibe, with some grimy rap, resembling and influenced by punk and hardcore music. i like Danny’s flow in this a lot, but what really gets me are the amazing beats and the overall energy and sound of this album.

has some good rapping here and there but way too repetitive in my opinion, with most of the features saving it for me

a very fun, funky and danceable project, with some great eletronic production and elements that are classic from The Weeknd. overall, it has great songwriting and storytelling, being a very melodical and creative pop album that takes inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson and still does that in a way that sounds exactly like a radio station or what a discotheque would play.

amazing first album. definitely more upbeat than blonde, showing a heavily optimistic and psychedelic at times version of frank. it also has the great high pitch, characteristic from frank and a great production, with the use of drums and electronics that fit very well. this project shows frank ocean’s highs both creativity wise and melodically too. it has a unique and well executed way of storytelling in neo soul with brilliant and seemless shifts on great grooves.

a soothing project with a chill, but sometimes sad and nostalgic atmosphere. minimalist but emotional r&b but slightly overrated still. on the upside, it’s has Frank’s best pitches and production and has some of the most emotional songs across his whole discography. beautiful, phenomenal, poetic and powerful.

sweet love letters that feel like a soft breeze and a breath of fresh air, with a big emphasis on Maya’s vocals on her personal and sometimes lonely, but pleasant life. overall, the project is simple but very well crafted, with a true sign of dedication to come, especially for being her debut album

my favourite Denzel album, great flows, incredible production with fast-paced and well elaborated action on some crazy steroids and features that just make the experience even better

the harmonies and the subtle production are so sweet and soothing even while being as short as it is

the extra tracks make the album slightly worse especially because of the first and last extra songs that are just complete filler and pointless verses stamped onto a 30 song album that wasn’t even good to have add-ons

one of the most influential rap albums oat. incredible rapping, great features and iconic performances especially for that time
