The Weeknd - Starboy
96

very overhated and Abel’s best project imo. the vocals and pitches are insane, the drums and the classic electronic elements and beats all throughout are incredible, whilst having creative stories and very detailed and layered, it also has funky, fun party music, but also sad, calm and atmospheric music too, also having my favorite the weeknd song on sidewalks.

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
91

has a very psychedelic vibe, with some grimy rap, resembling and influenced by punk and hardcore music. i like Danny’s flow in this a lot, but what really gets me are the amazing beats and the overall energy and sound of this album.

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter IV
75

has some good rapping here and there but way too repetitive in my opinion, with most of the features saving it for me

SZA - SOS
93

not better than ctrl but still amazing. incredible production and some great symphonies that are a breathe of fresh air from sza’s old projects. its flaws in my opinion, come from “ gone girl “, being a very slow-paced and even though its not bad melodically wise, it doesn’t go anywhere. the second flaw comes from “ smoking on my ex pack “ , regarding its short length and mostly its vocals that aren’t on the same instrospective mood of the album, with ... read more

The Weeknd - Dawn FM
86

a very fun, funky and danceable project, with some great eletronic production and elements that are classic from The Weeknd. overall, it has great songwriting and storytelling, being a very melodical and creative pop album that takes inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson and still does that in a way that sounds exactly like a radio station or what a discotheque would play.

Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE
94

amazing first album. definitely more upbeat than blonde, showing a heavily optimistic and psychedelic at times version of frank. it also has the great high pitch, characteristic from frank and a great production, with the use of drums and electronics that fit very well. this project shows frank ocean’s highs both creativity wise and melodically too. it has a unique and well executed way of storytelling in neo soul with brilliant and seemless shifts on great grooves.

Frank Ocean - Blonde
90

a soothing project with a chill, but sometimes sad and nostalgic atmosphere. minimalist but emotional r&b but slightly overrated still. on the upside, it’s has Frank’s best pitches and production and has some of the most emotional songs across his whole discography. beautiful, phenomenal, poetic and powerful.

Maya Hawke - Blush
85

sweet love letters that feel like a soft breeze and a breath of fresh air, with a big emphasis on Maya’s vocals on her personal and sometimes lonely, but pleasant life. overall, the project is simple but very well crafted, with a true sign of dedication to come, especially for being her debut album

Maya Hawke - MOSS
87

a chill, personal and emotional ride through Maya’s complex love stories along the whole project, sounding like a beautiful representation of a diary she’s reading to us in a heartwarming, distinct and unique way

Maya Hawke - Chaos Angel
87

across the entirety of this album, Maya’s calm and pure poetic rhymes along with its subtle but very well elaborated strings of production with the use of various instruments make it very comfortable and a great experience overall.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
63

80 -> 70 -> 63

just a fun and experimental album, some songs grew on me but overall the album grew off of me

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
100

this type of music has always been one of my favourites since I was very young, the combination of soul, r&b and hip hop in this album is done in such a immaculate way, with outstanding vocals and harmonies that touch my soul making me reflect on past years and even recent times with its conscious lyrics and loving, soothing and smooth music that my family always has praised, with me not being an excuse. this record’s rapping stuns my soul in fact with Lauryn’s voice that sounds ... read more

Denzel Curry - King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2
93

my favourite Denzel album, great flows, incredible production with fast-paced and well elaborated action on some crazy steroids and features that just make the experience even better

Maya Hawke - Clipped Wings
84

the harmonies and the subtle production are so sweet and soothing even while being as short as it is

Playboi Carti - MUSIC - SORRY 4 DA WAIT
53

the extra tracks make the album slightly worse especially because of the first and last extra songs that are just complete filler and pointless verses stamped onto a 30 song album that wasn’t even good to have add-ons

Nas - Illmatic
92

one of the most influential rap albums oat. incredible rapping, great features and iconic performances especially for that time

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
89

incredible vibes. another level of production, with beats that make each song more rhythmic than the other, and, in my opinion, the best rapping in drakes career with a few features that make the experience even greater and the melodies even more creative, memorable and immaculate.

Drake - Take Care
91

great moods, incredible production and some of the most iconic features and verses on drakes discography

Tyler, The Creator - Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss' The Grinch
50

not too bad for a short ep, with some decent production from tyler considering the target audience is small children lmao

Drake - Nothing Was The Same (Deluxe)
88

the extra tracks boost the album with incredible production and rapping
